Leonard, Adesanya, Bernstein To Do Commentary; Buffer on Board

Triller and Mike Tyson's Legends Only League are trying to make its maiden voyage into producing a boxing pay-per-view as big as possible by reaching into a deep well of mainstays in the sport.

The entertainment platform announced the principals who’ll be tasked with producing a palatable product on the screen for the exhibition showdown between Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Nov. 28.

Hall of Fame broadcaster Al Bernstein will provide play-by-play coverage, and Sugar Ray Leonard and UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will serve as analysts.

“It’s surreal that I’m actually given the opportunity to witness these two living legends compete ringside,” said Adesanya. “I grew up watching these two boxing icons in the ring and am honored to be on the sidelines commenting on one of the greatest comeback fights of all time.”

“I’ve never seen a night with so many iconic names on the program. This matchup is something I thought I’d only see in my dreams, but here we are,” said Leonard.

Hall of Fame broadcaster and author of the new book “Talking to GOATs” Jim Gray will provide pre-and-post fight interviews, while boxing aficionado and co-voice of “The 3 Knockdown Rule” podcast Mario Lopez will move the program along as the event’s host, much like he does for NBC’s “Access Hollywood.”

Michael Buffer will serenade the screens with his iconic line of “Let’s Get Ready To Rumble” for the main event, while ring announcer Barrie Egget will introduce the fighters in action for the undercard. Ernesto Amador will provide the primary Spanish commentary.

Grammy Award-winning artist Ne-Yo will perform the National Anthem.

“Opening for a fight of this magnitude is an honor and I can’t wait to witness one of the most noteworthy nights of the decade. I may be performing, but I am a fan at the end of the day and I look forward to witnessing this once in a lifetime lineup,” says Ne-Yo.

Earlier this week it was announced that Da Baby, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and YG will each have multi-song performances.

The eight-round exhibition between Tyson and Jones Jr. will be fought in two-minute rounds and be scored remotely by the WBC. The California State Athletic Commission has sanctioned the fight. The undercard will feature fights between Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson, Badou Jack vs. Blake McKernan and Viddal Riley vs. Rashad Coulter.

Viral entertainment platform Triller provided details for Saturday's pay-per-view exhibition between boxing legends Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. The exhibition will consist of eight two-minute rounds, twelve-ounce gloves, a winner will not be announced in the ring, but the WBC has appointed ex-fighters Chad Dawson, Vinny Paz and Christy Martin who will pick a winner (the result will not count on the boxers' records). Friday's weigh-in will be hosted by Barry Eget, and will start at 5PM ET, available globally including on www.TysonOnTriller.com. "Fans are in for a one-of-a-kind weigh-in next Friday, and it will be nothing less than iconic. Triller has truly poured its heart and soul into creating an experience that matches this legendary moment," says Bobby Sarnevesht, Triller's Executive Chair.

The pay-per-view itself will be hosted by Mario Lopez. It will be a four-hour live event that will air globally on November 28th at 8pm ET, with the three-hour main card beginning at 9:00 pm ET. The cost of the pay-per-view is $49.99. The fight card includes Tyson vs. Jones Jr., Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson, Badou Jack vs. Blake McKernan, and Viddal Riley vs. Rashad Coulter with multi-song performances from Lil Wayne, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, YG, and Ne-Yo. The musical acts lineup will no longer include a performance from rapper, singer, and songwriter, DaBaby. "DaBaby unfortunately has to pull out from the performance due to ongoing family obligations. It's the same with BT Sport here in the UK. They doing massive build ups.. Roundtable discussions etc. and it's £19.95 PPV as well.. But these sports channels cant be bothered with Loma-Teo and Crawford-Brook.

Tyson-RJJ is a huge 'fight'.. It's obviously more appealing to the general public and casual fans.. Hardcore fans won't bother..

I'd like to think people who frequent this forum know enough not to waste their money. It would make no difference to me if it was billed as a real fight … maybe the inaugural showdown for the WBC title in their newly created Super-annuated division.

People like myself are the 'casuals' now. Obviously I know more names, but I have several friends from max boxing that used to make dozens of posts a day who barely watch at all.

Since it's an exhibition, and just kinda a trip down memory lane it'd be nice if Mike could bust out some of the greatest hits of his career.

Dropping Roy after the bell. Biting him. Continuing to attack him when the referee gets in between them. Trying to break his arm in a clinch.

And then at the end he could tell us all he did it with a broken back. When asked about the nature of his injury. "It's spinal"
