Jacobs - Rosado 39 - 37. A meditative King Gabriel, Jacobs does less but with great effectiveness.

Has Rosado ever boxed this good? Roach sure does miracles.

For real. This game plan is keeping Gabe in the fight and with absolutely minimal damage.

He looks competent but he’s being given the time to work plus I don’t think he’s landing significant shots. I would say he’s mostly posing rather than being effective.

Both feeling their bank balances increase. I'm done watching this.

58-56 for Jacobs through six.

Rosado is surprisingly tactical. Constantly circling Jacobs and landing the jab. Good defense.

I feel sad for boxing that this is the main event.

Round 7 very close. I gave it to Gabe. Total swing round though. Wouldn’t argue with someone who scored it for Jacobs.

97 - 93 for Jacobs going through ten. Rosado is making his most tactically perfect match yet, though.

havent scored or anything but i feel this fight can range anywhere from about 120-108 jacobs victory, to about 118-110 rosado victory.... if i was scoring nearly every round would be a 10-10 round...

A neat Jacobs win for me but Rosado made the match of his life tonight. Really stunned everybody with this masterpiece of his.

YET another lacklustre win for Jacobs.

I stopped watching his fights on purpose and fr a reason.. he’s just too nothing.
Split decision.. bet Rosado was gutted.

Neither guy deserved to win? Your guy lost fair and square you twat. Granted, it was a shit fight, but the underdog clearly won... fornicate off. More crap from DAZN.

There was absolutely nothing clear about that win. honestly, without properly judging it i had round 4 (i think it was 4) to jacobs, round 12 to jacobs and every other round 10-10.... picking those 10-10s comes down to if you prefer accuracy or work rate, or how you saw certain punches, absolutly nothing clear about it.

i mean look at the punch stats, 78-78... every round except round 4 was a difference of 2 or less punches between them... that cant be clear in anyone's eyes..

Jacobs didn't look good but I don't get the controversy. A fight with that many swing rounds is hard to call a robbery.

Jacobs contract is us.. can’t see Hearn/DAZN wanting to continue paying him his minimum whatever that is.. probably around $4m+ or something..

He’s still advised by Al.. but the 160 and 168’ers are with DAZN.

Unless he can get Jermall.

Jacobs' contract with Hearn expired after the Rosado fight. He could either take a pay cut to remain with DAZN/Matchroom US or return to the PBC, where there are plenty of 168lb-ers in their roster (i.e. Benavidez, Plant, Dirrell, Truax etc).

160lbs: GGG, Andrade and Munguia are with DAZN.
168LBS: Saunders, Smith, Lemieux and Ryder are with DAZN.

There are plenty of options for Jacobs to compete against marquee names. He could remain a free agent or join ESPN, but if he doesn't (or can't) renew his contract with Matchroom US/DAZN, then he'll likely to realign himself with the PBC, based on his long-term existing ties with Al Haymon.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Jacobs' contract with Matchroom US won't be renewed, because it was only last week that Eddie Hearn admitted to wanting to offload expensive fighters (that don't attract sizable audience figures) from his roster. And the Matchroom boss was also fairly critical of Jacobs' performance last night.

Tried watching this fight and got bored very quickly.

So I skipped to the tenth round, but the fight continued to bore me.

And so I forwarded the video to the final round and was disappointed to see neither fighter pick the pace up for a grand stand finish to steal the victory.

Instead, it was another tedious round.

Rosado’s stock has risen, because he defied expectations and overachieved, with Jacobs’ stock falling, because he was subpar and boring to watch.

I can’t imagine anyone clamouring for Jacobs to face any big names, other than those that continue to sympathise with him overcoming his cancer plight.

They certainly won’t be supporting him for entertainment or sporting reasons.

One of the worst fights I’ve seen in recent memory.

What a disgusting fight it was. It was worthy 0-0 draw.
