Great fight by Joyce. All respect, I was on the dubois hype train. I had dubois 1 up but thought it was Joyce's to lose in the last few rounds

Dubois needs to work on his head movement. It'll be interesting how he comes back. From wrecking machine to quiting

I'm only listening to the fight, but that sounds like the worse type of defeat for Dubois - he will get called all sorts after that. Sounds like his eye is a mess, but sounds like he went down to a jab - going to be accusations of "quitting" for sure.

If his eye socket broke, bloody hell that’s enough no need to go crazy

As the saying goes, "He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day". It might not fit the pure warrior ethos that we often want fighters to have but Dubois is twenty-three years old and if the eye was gone then quitting was the sensible choice.

Nothing on that last punch, but clearly his eye was in a bad way and he'd had enough.

Richie seems to be trying to blame it on the injury but all down to Joyce's jab setting it up throughout the fight.

I had Joyce up by 2 or 3 after 9th.

Thought he was in control. Surprised that many had DDD up going into 10th

So the man-mountain with the deep amateur exp and better pro exp beats the muscle man with no meaningful am or pro exp.

Why do you gents consider this an upset?

Yeah the injury was the result of Joyce's caveman club jab!

Yeah I thought that. There were a couple of close rounds but I couldn't see Dubois being up, especially by the amount people have said.

Well done Joe Joyce !

Dubois got a bit of “ Q “ in his make up ....plenty of time to develop but he was not up to it tonight .
