Usyk beats both fighters with ease.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 19:42 He looks upset.
FW keeps saying Usyk vs. DDD..
Now JJJ can get a rematch with Usyk.

It looked exactly like that. But also the matador had a great chin.

Yeh, he has no AM experience..Delta Jay wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 19:48 I have to say this, though...
The forum and this thread are absolutely live tonight. Been lots of conflicting views and opinions it’s great. Been a good while since the last thread like this.
I think DDD taking too much flak, he’ll come again and he didn’t exactly disgrace himself.
Did well to win the Brit/Comm belts, and he’s still young.. ‘he can and will come again’..
He’ll probably win the world title after the likes of AJ and Fury retire..

Re: Round-by-Round: Joe Joyce vs. Daniel Dubois - 28 November 2020
As a Peacock guy I was obviously rooting for DDD but was under no illusion that this was gonna be a tough 50/50 fight.
Seen pictures of the eye and it looked bad :(
Joe Joyce is as nice as they come and deserves this moment and will give everyone trouble with his skill set. Heavyweight boxing has different rules .. you don’t need to be an amazing all rounder to be a legit champion .. being immense in one or two departments will get you a long way.
Hope there is no permanent damage to DDDs eye and that he comes back a better fighter

Joe was too seasoned, conditioned and tough for DD. That isn't changing any time soon. Another Joyce fight would finish DD

Disappointing to read that some folk think Dubois quit.
When your eye snaps it's natural to go straight into protection mode.

I’ve only seen the end where he took the knee, could see it was closed. No cut?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 19:52Left eye completely closed.. started closing from round 3..
Joyce was landing that jab at ease.
Just like FW said, it was a fight of the jab. Who ever landed it would take advantage.
Had no way of seeing it and didn’t get home till about half way through.
I fancied Dubois to win this. Was it competitive?

The guy that's spent the past few months playing down his record and ability.

Joyce’s ramrod jab is like any other heavyweights backhand...18stone smashing your kipper in every 30 seconds, no thanks

he did quit, no doubt about it. doesn't mean it was cowardly or not a smart move, but he put himself to a knee and voluntarily stayed down. that's simply quittingTarquin Tarpaulin IV wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 19:53 Disappointing to read that some folk think Dubois quit.

As Ricky said the ref should have had the doctor in several rounds before and kept monitoring it.Tarquin Tarpaulin IV wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 19:53 Disappointing to read that some folk think Dubois quit.

Frampton and Haye top class on punditry tonight. What a breath of fresh air to hear pundits willing to challenge the broadcaster/promoter narrative.
