what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
He's 35, gotta move it, but you rarely hear talk of him vs aj or fury for world titles

Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
He'd panic AJ and beat him.
Fury would just toy with him for 12 rounds.

I reckon he’d beat Whyte, although I don’t rate Whyte particularly high tbh. Might even beat Joshua. Needs to stay well away from Fury and Usyk though.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
think he beats whyte. might give usyk a hard night over 12. i like to see him vs del boy.

aj is not bigger than joyce, joyce is a freaking unit. 6'6 and defined at 260
in fact i'd say fury is also just longer, not overall bigger. fury is a lot softer at 270 than joyce was

Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
The loser of Povetkin v Whyte II maybe? Parker? He's ready for that level now.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
If anything, AJ"s left hook would be what I would mention. His one two wouldn't be what would get him past joe. I waited all those rounds for Dubs' corner to tell him to throw the right to the body followed by a left hook. It was there all night and could have stopped that ramrod jab from coming so much.

I don't think big Joe is going to take any of the big boys out and that includes Whyte. I mean he's gonna have to throw more than a jab against the top guys.
It was enough to beat Dubois, but lets not get too excited.

I think it will be him vs usyk for the vacant WBO mid next year... If you have seen WBS you will know its not the best matchup for him...
I wanna see him vs AJ, i kinda think AJ is a better version of DDD, so see how that works out. Or the Yoka "olympic final rematch" would be a fun story and fight. Whyte, Chis, Pulev, Helenius, washington, Breazeal, Bakole, are all fun fights too.

Seemed to me that was his fight plan vs Dubs. Won't be the same vs AJ. He don't stand a chance vs Fury, and he'd beat white.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:21 I don't think big Joe is going to take any of the big boys out and that includes Whyte. Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
On the other hand, maybe Dubois isn’t actually that big a puncher and AJ would just steamroller Joyce. He’s already smashed up another immovable object in Kevin Johnson
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
jj is about 6 5 aj is 6 6 so will his jab work against him doubt it, have you seen the uysk fight v joyce in amateurs dont think think he would beat him in the pros, jj wont beat dillian whyte i dont think, i feel out of order as i like joyce i feel like iam having to put him down here , why not hughie furymargaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:16 aj is not bigger than joyce, joyce is a freaking unit. 6'6 and defined at 260

He said it himself in the post fight interview ... Usyk. Both guys would fancy it - seems easy enough to make for March/April. Final eliminator - winner fights AJ in summer.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
I'd like to see him fight Chisora.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
Well done Joe Joyce proved quite a few people wrong. A likeable and interesting guy. I think Usyk would school him but I can see him giving Whyte a tough night. AJ & Fury would beat him imo. Hopefully he can get some big pay days in
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
cant see that happening i dont think the money is there , there not big enough names outside boxing fansCaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:56 He said it himself in the post fight interview ... Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
I think you've got that the wrong way around: from the photos I've seen, Joyce is 6-6 and Price is 6-8. Fury's maybe a tiny bit shorter than Price, and AJ's the same height as Wlad, who claims 6-5 to 6-6. Frazer Clarke's listed at 6-6...

Fury has a clear reach advantage, but Joyce matches up well physically and Fury couldn't push him around. All massive guys, obviously, but I think Joyce is the biggest after Price and Fury, and who knows who's strongest.

Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
How many times do I have to say Usyk had already won gold in the Olympics and Joyce had been an amateur for two years when that fight happened. 8 years have passed since then, and Joyce was robbed of his own Olympic gold? AJ and Fury are going to fight next year and the WBO will go vacant, so it will be Joyce-Usyk for the vacant title. Joyce might not win but Usyk didn't really impress me against Chisora -David Haye did far better against a fresher version- and so he'd be a live dog. Fwank with his salty rematch bollocks... Joyce deserves his shot. It's a solid fight.brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:36jj is about 6 5 aj is 6 6 so will his jab work against him doubt it, have you seen the uysk fight v joyce in amateurs dont think think he would beat him in the pros, jj wont beat dillian whyte i dont think, i feel out of order as i like joyce i feel like iam having to put him down here , why not hughie furymargaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:16 aj is not bigger than joyce, joyce is a freaking unit. 6'6 and defined at 260

I don't know how to post photos but scroll down the page on this article to see Joyce and Fury stood next to each other.brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:36jj is about 6 5 aj is 6 6 so will his jab work against him doubt it, have you seen the uysk fight v joyce in amateurs dont think think he would beat him in the pros, jj wont beat dillian whyte i dont think, i feel out of order as i like joyce i feel like iam having to put him down here , why not hughie furymargaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:16 aj is not bigger than joyce, joyce is a freaking unit. 6'6 and defined at 260
