Not sure iv seen it mentioned yet but i think Big D has been managed terribly.
Got beat after a huge leap in levels. Probably should have been fighting tougher oppenents more regular in his first few years as a senior/pro AND locked in on a allegedly contract for years to come.

Gutted about the result as i was on the hype train but its hardly a shock...
Congrats to Joe Joyce!

It did annoy me to see Haye criticizing him for quitting. In my opinion there is a spectrum to quitting. A fighter can go the distance in a fight but he really quit in the fight and stopped trying to win and just survived. Dubois was in there trying to win and was up on many scorecards. Yes he quit but his performance was full of heart. Haye lost just about every round to Wlad and never really took risks and tried to win the fight. He was content to go the distance and get his toe out afterward and he has the nerve to criticize Dubois, who gave it a real go.

Seems rather forced and to try and sell a fight that didn't need selling, very odd

Yes the comment to Joes mum seemed rehearsed and scripted. Totally out of character for DDD I thought.

Nobody forced the words out of his mouth.

I guess he needs to get to the eye hospital for a proper assessment.

I am no expert but With that kind of swelling I guess it will be quite hard to assess any potential eye damage as you can’t actually see the eyeball .

Hopefully nothing permanent, that would be awful

The way it swelled up so fast was a bit unusual. Begain after the first round. Now they are saying broken orbital and possible nerve damage. This would really suck for the lad.

"I broke his heart and made him quit." Guess he's super hyped after the fight. Just not Joyce like.

Joe was repeating what someone else ( Sam or Adam ? ) said .. just got a bit carried away as it’s not his kind of words.

I thought Joe looked genuinely shocked and almost upset at the thought of breaking DDDs orbital.

Why would you be upset? I wouldn't want to cause a brain injury to a guy or nothing life altering like that, but if I break a bone in his face I'll be honest. I'd be proud of that. It's the hurt business. If you don't like hurting people at least to some degree you probably oughta do something else.
