Usyk..styles...he will have the skill set and IQ to overcome the lack of speed and 2d nature of Joyce.

Honestly think Joyce can give AJ fits though...again styles

Despite the win against Dubois.... Joe Joyce is not an elite fighter
Totally agree.

It was cringeworthy watching Joyce and Dubois. I admit to have been caught up in the Dubois hype ... I fully expected Joyce to allow him to show case all those ingredients he had up until then not shown us. Unfortunately Joyce didnt particularly show us anything we didnt already know - and neither did Dubois.
They were both like club show amateurs .. lots of heart but little skill.

Usyk will win a very clear 12 rnder. Of course there will be moments when Joyce would man handle him, but he simply has not got the skills or one punch KO to seriously trouble Usyk.

5 rounds against 12 rounds, big difference
Of course, but pro gloves are bigger difference. Still, watch that vid :box:
I agree with Coco.
Usyk must be favourite based on that fight, but....

There was enough there to think that with 12 rounds and different gloves it could go differently. Joyce has improved more since then too. Of course he had a much lower base to improve on, but Dubois was a career-best performance and Chisora perhaps a career-worst.

F*ck it, you've got me off the fence. Already loads of people coming out saying Joyce is still sh*t despite breaking down the massive betting favourite without really ever being troubled. Keep it coming, guys. Could we get even bigger odds from the bookies than Saturday?

Usyk is completely different fighter. Dubois tried to overwhelm Joyce, but failed to do it and had no idea what to do, after Joyce had imposed a boxing match on him. Usyk will be boxing there. And Usyk definitely is faster than Joyce, more technical, he moves better and has a more polished jab. Usyk can outmove Joyce and win with a jab like Joyce did against Dubois. Joyce should try a different game there, to make it a fight othar than a tactical match.
