I've been having this debate with a girl from work for years about Sly. I've always said he is about my height (just over 5ft 7") were she maintains he is more like 5"10.

She has a massive crush on him, hence the debate.

Oh, Stallone's definitely got a massive ego. I don't think there's any doubt about that.
And, that ego conveniently adds about two, maybe three inches to his actual height. Which I believe is "officially" 5'10" or 5'11", but in reality is the aforementioned 5'8". At best...

I've always thought it was funny how the only film in which Sly actually looked like a typical journeyman fighter was in the initial ROCKY, which, if I remember correctly, he filmed when he was somewhere in the 190s. But then, for each subsequent sequel his physique became more & more rediculously non-fighterlike & more bodybuilder-esque.
I think for III & IV he was living on egg whites & burnt toast or some such crazy thing & weighed about 170.
