Please tell me his nickname is 'Lord' Tennyson
Re: The most exciting fighter in British boxing fights on Friday
I thought he missed a trick there too.
Always look forward to him on the card.

100% agree!
Every Tennyson fight is a must watch for me, he has bricks as fists.
Used to annoy me when Eddie used to put him on dead early at 6pm on Facebook live.

Yeah look at how he brutally knocks out Shafiq to a backdrop of a completely empty arena. That final left hook reminded me of Tua Ruiz.Stanny Onis wrote: ↑03 Dec 2020, 17:57 100% agree!

I like how his opponents all generally try to make it a boring fight by running/moving but he just cuts them off willing to take shots on the gloves with the odd shot getting through. He's also fragile to the body.

Any ideas why he would remain vulnerable to the body? I mean surely that’s something you can toughen up with the medicine ball and other stuff, not like a fragile chin which you can do nothing about - other than duck

Hearn should be building cards around him in Belfast. He’s criminally unknown over there.

It’d be good to see him in against that Aussie / Greek lad who beat Selby
We’ll probably see him in a pointless clash with Ricky Burns

Obvious yet textbook matchmaking on how to buy your man a high rating and title shot.
The other guy had a glossy undefeated record, but they knew he had no pop on his punches so wouldn’t be able to hold off Tennyson, also I heard Maclin say that he’d seen the Canadian get knocked over previously, so they knew his chin wasn’t too great either: an absolute god send for Hearn and co.
If only matchmaking was always this easy....
