I like Martin Murray a lot but he is easy pickings for a switched on Billy Joe, very easy. Saunders is, from a reliable(ish) source, very focused at the moment. Thinks he's got his mind on retiring at the end of 2022.

Jimmy Tibbs had reached the point in his life where he wanted to do less and being in camp in Marbella was something he didn't want to do anymore.

Davidson and Vaughan probably couldn't teach him much.

Doubt he gelled with Booth who is an acquired taste.

Probably too easy to lose focus in Sheffield, get bored, etc...

Now he's back with a Tibbs, he'll be right.

I’d have thought ingle would be the perfect fit for him and living in Sheffield isn’t such a massive sacrifice to make to see if he can really achieve anything special in what’s left of his career.
Isn’t going back to Tibbs the easy option ? Can Bill maybe get away with more under Tibbs than he’d be able to under a more in charge head trainer.

Can’t argue with that. Anyhow his time with Ingle adds a bit of spice to any future clash with Williams hopefully
