Usyk to part ways with K2 Promotions?
Formerly undisputed world cruiserweight champion Alexander Usyk has posted statements on the YouTube channel USYK17 expressing that he doesn’t want to renew his contract with K2 Promotions, with whom he has been with since November 2013. “I want to be my own promoter,” proclaimed Usyk. “I want to do it my way and try to negotiate a deal with K2 Promotions and move on to USYK17 Promotions.”

Usyk has looked like trash at Heavyweight. He needs to land a big money fight asap, before he gets stopped & relegated to gatekeeper

Re: Usyk to part ways with K2 Promotions?
The head of the Top Rank promotion company Bob Arum announced his desire to sign a contract with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk. It was reported by Betway Insider.
“We'd be happy to have him. I've become friendly with him, a very funny charming guy, and I know him pretty well because of the Lomachenko situation. Top Rank would love to promote him if there are no impediments. He's a wonderful boxer and athlete but more than that a great person, he’s very smart and a lot of fun.
“He hasn’t reached out but he has the same manager as Lomachenko, Egis Klimas. Egis would reach out to me if there was an opportunity for us to get involved with Usyk, so I’d leave it up to Egis to contact me - we have a great relationship,” Arum said.
Oleksandr Usyk signed a contract with K2 Promotions in 2013. The duration of the agreement was 7 years.

If Usyk signs with Top Rank, expect the WBO to strip AJ of his title, with Oleksandr facing Joe Joyce for the vacant championship.
However. I expect Usyk to establish similar co-promotional ties with Hearn that GGG currently has.
