Yarde does have talent right? And he can bang.
It’s just not being deployed is it... and his whole attitude isn’t right.
I’m not saying he’s p4p but he could be a decent operator.

I’m not a fan of people dropping coaches after a loss but yarde needs to mix things up.Frostieballs wrote: ↑05 Dec 2020, 19:31 Yarde does have talent right? And he can bang.

I wonder if the doctor can do anything for Fwank's shoulder and neck twitches?

Had Arthur a 116-113 winner, i know most rounds were close but how the fcvk can IJL have Yarde winning 9 rounds, mind boggling, it was a poor fight, thought it would be going in, both cagey, rumours Arthur injured a hand in warm up, explains why he barely threw the right, injured or not he won thr fight one handed, just jabs, Yarde crude as hell, he nicked a couple of rounds but took until 12th to turn it on, rocked Arthur with a massive right hand, far too late though, Yarde's post fight interview suggests maybe he is as deluded as Tunde, he done fck all, that was actually worse than Saunders/Murray, at least BJS showed bits of quality

Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Yarde vs. Lyndon Arthur - 5 December 2020
He never really developed a good enough jab coming through. They went for the discount Mayweather style and bodybuilder physique. It resulted in him being unable to win slow rounds against guys with jabs. When they were building the discount Mayweather style they should have looked at the world class jab that Floyd has to head and body as the fundamental starting point.Frostieballs wrote: ↑05 Dec 2020, 19:31 Yarde does have talent right? I had Yarde by a round, but he can't complain with the decision. It was close, he's obviously more powerful, but he didn't do enough.
Well he did enough for you, and did enough within the conventions of the scoring criteria.

Ya agree with rick, arthur really hardly did f@ck all of note himself, the jab was missing a lot and defensive, and that was all he had, but still, when your opponent also hardly does anything you dont need to do much to win. i thought that yarde might have gotten it strong enough in the second half to have the judges favour but cant complain about arthur nicking it

Andy Lee talking a lot of sense about Dubois right now.

Yarde's entirely natural Bolo Yeung upper body doesn't help. He's not built for fluidity.

Andy Lee has been a good listen.

I kinda agree with Rick too - I scored for Yarde !margaret thatcher wrote: ↑05 Dec 2020, 19:39 Ya agree with rick, arthur really hardly did f@ck all of note himself, the jab was missing a lot and defensive, and that was all he had, but still, when your opponent also hardly does anything you dont need to do much to win. i thought that yarde might have gotten it strong enough in the second half to have the judges favour but cant complain about arthur nicking it
But judging is close/weird/bent/subjective -you can't put in a performance like that and moan when you lost a SD.

No not true, all opponents are ranked top 10 in the Tunde Ajayi rankings.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑05 Dec 2020, 19:39Am I right in saying that Yarde has never beaten any top-ten UK or European opponent?

Am I right in saying that Yarde has never beaten any top-ten UK or European opponent?
And would it be correct of me to claim that Yarde’s last two victories came against opponents that had failed to win a combined total of 55 from their 75 bouts?

Lyndon Arthur. Good to see someone actually defend a Commonwealth tile rather than just dump it in favour of some alphabet silver or interim belt

Yarde has never beaten any top-ten rated UK or European opponent?
And Yarde’s only victories within the last 21 months came against two opponents that had failed to win a combined total of 55 from their 75 bouts?

Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Yarde vs. Lyndon Arthur - 5 December 2020
Very close, couldn’t argue either way but I’m glad Arthur got it - I thought he just deserved it. Shocking scorecard from IJL to add to the shocking one in Dubois favour last week. Skulllduggery is clearly afoot and we all know what or more accurately who the common denominator is.
Tunde is stealing a living. He can remember all the moves of a primary school girls playground handclap game with Yarde before the bell for round one yet twice he can’t remember to give him his gumshield. I would love to hear Pat Barrett’s opinion of his rival cornerman

How I’d love to have Darke commentating on fights again rather than the awful Rawling.
