This Hermanson card has been brilliant tonight. Loads of quality finishes and no women on the card :TU:

Really like the Joker, but Vettori is my favorite at that class. GREAT fight between those two, smashed the sig strikes record.

I'm one of those that feel Marvin edged Izzy in their first fight, and I think he's got the best shot at beating him currently. I'd like to see him jump Rob and get the next shot, but if that's not do-able then I'd be fine with him and Costa with Marvin getting a shot if he wins that one.

I thought Hermansson made some real tactical errors. He totally abandoned grappling and even a particularly varied striking attack in the last 2 rounds and just started slugging. It allowed Vettori to re-take control of the fight after it looked like he was fading.

Something like this was bound to happen eventually, no way can UFC maintain a stranglehold forever.

Doesn't make the Mickey Mouse BBC MMA webpage despite potentially being one of the biggest MMA stories of all time.

Very smart move White and the Ferttitas made getting out of the ownership before this kicks off.

So far this card has been really good. Even the first woman's fight was good. :yay:

Tucker was really impressive.

Wow, what a combination from Fiziev. I thought it was stopped a little too early as Moicano was definitely hurt, but he was aware enough that he was trying to pull guard. You got to give him a chance. Fucking ref ruined it.

Wow, another great fight. Cub Swanson just exploded on Pineda and knocked him out. Is no one else watching this card? Every fight has been great so far. I can't remember a better prelims than this card. Every fight was entertaining and exciting.

That was the best UFC card I have seen in a long time. Not one single bad fight including the two women’s fights.

The way Charles Oliveira dominated Tony Ferguson was so impressive, and the main event was the best fight of the year. Figueiredo and Moreno blasted each other with power shots for 5 straight rounds.

Tony Ferguson’s says as a top Lightweight contender are over.

Glad he didn’t fight Khabib. He would have been mauled!

What a heart on Moreno. I wouldn’t call it fight if the year but it was good. Figuierdo is in love with his power and is heading for a KO if he stays as sloppy.

I only watched the prelims but Swanson vs. Pineda was awesome. Swanson is one of those vets who I didn't love back in the day but who grew on me over time and is now one of my favorites.

Exact same on Cub. I think he’s had some fantastic performances, really exciting fighter on form.

I think he would make an excellent step-up fight for Arnold Allen (could be a good UK main event post-COVID) but I wonder how many fights he even has left at this point. He seems to take serious damage every time out, and a 16-year, 38-fight career is nothing to sneeze at.

Good card last night but qiestionable refereeing and judging.

I thought Figueredo won 123 & 5 with Moreno winning r4. Seemed quite obvious too. All 3 pundits on Sherdog scored it like that too.

Figueredo got a point off, with no warning, for an accidental low shot!? And none of the 3 judges had Figueredo ahead!?

I’ve not actually seen his fight yet but he can’t have much left. That he’s down in the prelims after all that time says he’s not making money so he should be looking to get into his next career asap before his brain is mush 🤞🏼

Dana said Figueredo had already been warned twice before that for fouls and felt the point deduction was justified.

I'm pretty sure he's making very good money considering his position in the division these days. I saw 2 different estimates of his earnings for last night's fight and one was $210K and one was $310K. I'd actually be concerned that he'll be cut soon because he makes too much and isn't a serious contender any more.

You haven’t watched the whole card yet? This card was one of the most enjoyable cards I’ve seen in quite some time. Every fight from top to bottom was entertaining, including the women’s bouts.
