Good shout.
Can anyone think of a worse one...?
Theres been plenty of poor ones in the weak years of the light welterweight division

Past it Zab Judah vs Amir Khan
Past it Ricky Burns vs Julius Indogno
Timothy Bradley vs Devon Alexander
Would you add Crawford vs. Postol/Indongo as well?
Crawford vs Indongo yeah

But not Postol., even though Crawford beat him easily (in a dull fight) Postol was looking good at that time, and is still good now tbf.

Indogno has to be the weakest unified chanp ever lol

The Russians probably looked at about 30 seconds of Indongo and got him on the first flight to Russia. Unbeaten fighter, good padded record and looks like an amateur on tape. Troyanovski himself was a con and gets KO'd in 40 seconds. Then a very limited Ricky Burns was outboxed.

The Troya fight is complete comedy. The camera spanning to the members of the audience with Indongo screaming "My God!!" in the ring repeatedly and then a photographer pretty much right in Troyas face in the ring taking snaps as he's laying there starched and not knowing where he is.

I think with Indongo, it’s just the way he came
On to the scene. Starched Troy but then lopsided Burns. Crawford is elite and he took him out in 2-3 rounds. But since then, we can now see what Indongo is all about.

Those who have are fighting this month already from the rankings are:
David Light (fighting Mose Auimatagi Jnr on 19th December)
Michael Cieslak (fighting Taylor Mabika tomorrow)
Juergen Uldedaj (fighting TBA on 12th December)
If I were to hazard a guess it would be between Light and Uldedaj. With probably Uldedaj in pole position due to being based in Germany as Light is based in New Zealand. If this were to be the case and the WBO belt still being on the line, this will be a very poor fight for a vacant title. I would much prefer the Light fight as he has a lot more experience but logistically it could be hard to do with the fight taking place next week!

There are rumours that Nikodem Jeżewski (who is scheduled to fight Kalenga on 11/12 in Poland) could replace Głowacki, but that seems unlikely to me, despite the fact that one of the journalists report that he has his luggage prepared and is ready for a travel.

For those who don't know him:

🇵🇱 Nikodem Jeżewski - 19(9) 0 1 (ranked #60 by BoxRec)

He was scheduled to fight Youri Kalenga in Poland next friday, but will fight Okolie instead.

Both of them got busted for drugs, Cieślak was counted first, then he hit Jeżewski, Nikodem took a knee, referee stopped the fight prematurely.

But Cieślak did a big progress since then, while Jeżewski is imo where he was, but let's see, he should be in top shape as he had to fight Kalenga next friday. I'd slighty favour Głowacki, Cieślak or Masternak, but I think that Jeżewski's chances are very slim.

According to Eddie Hearn and Andrzej Wasilewski, Cieślak demanded astronomical amount of money for replacing Głowacki. Also, according to Wasilewski, Mateusz Masternak wasn't even considered by Hearn. They wanted a Polish fighter though, because it's gonna be a DAZN debut in Poland. Jeżewski isn't too popular though, and his chances are very slim. Due to styles of Okolie and Jeżewski, I think it will be a quite ugly fight (just like Hughie vs Wach I guess). Not a good replacement in general, hopefully I'm wrong.

Okolie fights are always very bad viewing. It doesn't matter who his opponent is - he will stink any arena out. I'm not sure what I'll be doing during the Okolie fight but I certainly will not be watching it.

This doesn't look like a premature stoppage. He seems to jump onto the canvas after taking a punch? Judging by this, we might be lucky and get an early stoppage for Okolie and get him out of the way so we can enjoy the boxing. Nobody wants to have to sit through his Octopus impression.

Yep - after seeing this and knowing how Shane likes to get his fighters to plant their feet and look for big shots you’ve got to think this is an early inside win for Okolie.

Yeah - I think Shane McGuigan will get the best out of him and make him a better, and more entertaining fighter.
