He needed a relatively unpunishing night after the Cheeseman affair and he got it, pretty one-sided stuff but he was able to look classy tonight without taking much.

Good stoppage for Eggington, Theophane is a tough bastard, crafty as well, partially blocked a lot of Eggington's work, he puts the earmuffs on, thought the knockdown in the 2nd looked a bit harsh, a left to thebody did land but looked a balance issue, Eggington just constantly walked Theophane down, Theophane couldnt cope with the volume, he did land the occasional big shot but they bounced off Eggington's chin, Theophane was getting battered to the body and Eggington was starting to land cleaner shots, hard right hand downstairs for the finish,

It went on too long but gladly Theophane didn't take too many to the head flush.

So Theophane was only previously stopped by a world champion and Paul Malignaggi had only previously been beaten by world champions,,,destiny calls :box:

You got to give it to Aaron McKenna at this level he's relentless from the opening bell just goes out to destroy and never stops until he's done it.

Sort of did and didn't get the stoppage. On the one hand it was one way traffic and was just going to be another round and a half of the same but on the other MJ Hall was not in any trouble or immediate danger :maybe:
