He's not on my "can't miss" list, but he's not that boring. Got good power, improving.
Agree he gets way too much stick, he's not pretty but effective and has legit world level power. He's not ducked anyone either and progressed well

I don't know if I can be bothered waiting. Gotta feeling it's not going to be all that. My bed is calling. Might just watch it on YouTube in the morning.

knockout wrote: 12 Dec 2020, 18:22Ps If you have already been stopped at cruiserweight and your name isn’t Dorticos or Glowacki then you aren’t beating Okolie
Fastcar knows to wait for Briedis to put on more miles, so Okolie's probably a threat to anyone he's allowed to fight over the next couple of years.

Gnome wrote: 12 Dec 2020, 18:19 Nelson and Hearn are really laying it on thick in regards to Okolie. He looked good, but the cruiserweight division has depth these days.
To be honest it got a lot shallower than it was c 18 months ago when 2 of the top 3 guys moved up . It was THE division at that point

If I had a choice between landing a clean backhand to the chin of Adam Smith or Gareth Davies, I would really struggle. I'd probably end up flipping a coin. Two of the most annoying guys. Thinking about it a bit more, I think I'd lean slightly more toward Smith. I'd probably pay him a grand if we could sign a contract and have it legal.
