Strange performance from AJ.

Pulev shoulda been stopped in R3 when he turned his back, but AJ backed off and had that strange anxious look he had in the Ruiz fight.
I think he musta been having flashbacks of going in for the kill in R3 and iced - only explanation. :maybe:

@skansta, Joshua played it safe and smart, he put out a of energy in 3rd round and waited for what came later with not much risk..

Joshua seemed like a coward despite his KO win.

But that is the HW champion of our generation.

No doubt he lacks heart and balls.

Beautiful knockout by AJ over a tough guy. Kubrat does not get enough respect.

What happen to Joshua's power?
pulev sure felt it :bag:
Best I've seen AJ look in a long time. Hats off.

He defintley got heart as he displayed in loss to ruiz and victory over ruiz, but his stamina and chin are question marks,,elite fighter but not perfect.

Pulev fought valiantly. He definitely went out on his shield.

Not agreeing with these comments such as gunshy, coward, etc.

AJ was extremely composed in there and in control at all times. It wasn’t an unusual performance given the caliber of opponent. He did well throughout and got a great finish.

He DID do well. It WAS a good win with a great finish.

But, he did show some issues with either stamina or mentality.

Why? Don’t you see his face after taking a single punch, moving around like a little kid wanna hide.

He became like this after Ruiz fight.

What is silly about That?

Good win by Joshua over a very game Pulev.

The old AJ is certainly more exciting to watch.

AJ promised a return of the “rough and ready, the bruiser” of old, but he failed to deliver.

The stoppage was impressive, but the overall performance was subpar.

Belts mean nothing. AJ is a mediocre heavyweight. He loses to the top guys.

Froch and Nelson both claiming Joshua could’ve got the job done sooner, switched off for a few rounds.

Joshua seemed annoyed during the post-fight interview.

He's not mediocre, he's really good. Fury and maybe Usyk beats him. Who else today in the top 10? Not certain if Wilder will ever fight again at this point. He already beat Ruiz; Povetkin; Whyte & Parker. That's 4 of the top 11 on BoxRec. I've never been a big fan of his, but I don't see your point of view.
