Edgar Berlanga-2021

Post by goose 5 »

He says in June 2021 he'll fight at MSG; I suspect it will be against Danny Jacobs. As for his next bout-scheduled for March, 2021-how about Gabe Rosado ?

Geezes, no way he is fighting jacobs in june. he has never been punched back, has never gone into round 2, never vsed a C grade opponent. You dont throw your hyped prospect in with jacobs. Jacobs looked shit last fight, dosent mean he is shit, everyone has bad nights.

Martin murry, would be a good/big step up for him june. Rosado would be good too i guess (i know his jacobs fight was dead even, but he had a good night jacobs a bad night, there not the same levle...). His march fight should be somewhere between who he has fort and those guys, Peter Quillin mabey. and that is more ambitious than i predict we will see.

If Berlanga is the main event at the Garden in June, his opponent will have to be top quality. Jacobs is also a New Yorker and Berlanga is going to be moved very fast by his people, imo.

i like how on espn they listed our legendary boi ali raymi as the record holder for most first rounds kos in a row :yay:

don't see him fighting jacobs any time soon, they are gonna milk the ko streak until that's up, and when he's stepped up it''s not gonna be such a big leap.more like a truax type instead of a jacobs

Personally I think he needs to be stretched 8-10 rounds to see how he handles the deep end of the pool. A Dhafir Smith type, who cares about there record but if they are a proven journeyman who takes him to deep waters so be it.

Gunnar Jackson be the perfect guy! Took Mundine the distance on 10 days notice. Have Murata a good work out over 10 rounds on 3 weeks notice. A former WBO #10 ranked Middleweight he comes to win and posses an iron chin and huge heart.

Moving forward Tyrone Brunson (possibly to light) but a battle of the heavy hitters :OhYes: :bag:

Edgar Berlanga vs Steven Nelson, both guys are with Top Rank. Bring it on, winner would be ready for title shot :box: :box: :box:

This 1st round KO streak being made into such a huge deal will almost certainly bite him in the ass one way or another.

I could be wrong of course, but I'm not all that impressed. Still, I'll be interested to see how he reacts when he's put in there with someone legit.

First things first. Before you throw this kid in with someone that's dangerous, just find someone that's definitely durable.

Porky Medina or someone like that comes to mind. I'm sure there's gotta be other guys that are known for their toughness.
