A good fight, competetive and with great technical display. 116-112 is a good score for Spence, I had the same.

That is a freak show im looking fowards to watching. he landed an uppercut from outside of his opponents jab range.... When will someone get inside and absolutly bully his body. thing is, he is so tall right now that from the inside people dont have an angle to hit him in the head realy....

Also, how heavy will he fight.. He is 154, 100% will go 160, almost certainly 168, probably 175... but then its a big gap. will he ever fight cruiser? could he ever fill out to heavy? Its a long road, but its got me interested.

They guy he fought last night was 6'1" tall and he looked dwarfed by Fundora.
The 24hr weigh in must help Fundora loads, he doesn't look skinny really, he looked well developed. Throwing uppercut as a lead punch , a southpaw as well , if his chin is good he's going to cause a lot of problems for his opponents

Reactions

Shawn Porter - I saw it 8-4. 1 early run. Errol took 2 late rounds off. And then I thought Danny stole the 10th... but I may be bias to the underdog right there. At any rate both fighters fought hard and strong and Errol showed us THE TRUTH! #SpenceGarcia

Andre Ward - Errol Spence was blessed with another opportunity to fight again. He came back tonight and fought a great fight against a fighter who is respected in the game. Big respect ! Congrats bro.

Lennox Lewis - The “does he still have it” questions have been answered by Errol Spence Jr. tonight against a tough opponent in Danny Garcia ... but the biggest question remains #spencecrawford?

Manny Pacquiao - Welcome back, Errol Spence Jr. . Congratulations on your victory.

Joseph Diaz - I’ll bet anyone 150k @ErrolSpenceJr beats @terencecrawford

Claressa Shields - Good fight happy to see bro back in there. Congrats @ErrolSpenceJr !!!!

Jamel Herring - Good fight @ErrolSpenceJr. You earned that horse. #SpenceGarcia @premierboxing

Tony Harrison - @DannySwift was getting nowhere near the credit for the good shit he was doing but def lost to the best fighter in the division tonight

Jose Ramirez - Congratulations to Josesito puro #RGBA. And congratulations to @ErrolSpenceJr true champion.

Enzo Maccarinelli - Spence was terrific cant believe the lack of urgency by Garcia, surely he knew he was way behind

Caleb Truax - 9-3 Errol Spence. Had Garcia winning 2, 9, & 10. Exactly how o thought itd play out. #SpenceGarcia #boxing #pbconfox

Franchón Crews-Dezurn - @ErrolSpenceJr out here giving a testimony...He’s fighting and living with a purpose now. When you go through things they either make you or break you.... He’s a made man.

Stephen Edwards - Spence knows how to "BOX" going forward. Everyone thinks you have to move away while boxing but that's not true. Errol boxes going forward. Hard to outpoint him. Good job, nice performance!

I probably gave Garcia too much credit as I had it 115-113 to Spence. It was all Spence in the first half of the fight but then Garcia woke up and looked the stronger towards the end, although Spence never looked in trouble.
Based on his last two performances, as good as Spence is, I’d have Crawford beating him.

118-110 Spence for me, comfortable win, looks like he's lost a bit of speed but i imagine that's just his age, he's still sharp and fought at a solid pace, controlled ring centre, cut the ring off and dictated the fight, worked the jab and left hand, constantly backed Garcia up and never allowed him to get to grips of the fight, Garcia came into things a bit later on but never really materialised into anything worthwhile and Spence finished as he started, fair play to Spence, coming off the accident and beating Garcia in that fashion, minimum fuss

Just watched it in Spanish (I swear I'm starting to understand about a third of what's being said now- it's a good way to pick up a language I guess) and saw it as a fairly comfortable win for Spence: entertaining enough but not much drama in there. Both can punch but both can clearly hold a shot. If anything, if anybody showed the harder punch that made the other react it was Garcia, not Spence who I picked to stop Danny. But it was pretty much a shut out for me on the scorecards: I think you could give a round or two to Garcia but you also realistically could give him none. He came on stronger later in the fight but Spence came back and just outworked him.

So, do we get Crawford now or what? Based on that I'd have to pick Crawford. Spence is a massive welterweight but the size advantage didn't really show in this fight. Also, Garcia is an old fighter now. Spence should be beating the likes of him, and I expected him to put a bit more a dent in him.

I had it 116-112 Spence.

Considering he was coming off an horrific car crash, going straight in with Garcia is very impressive.

Spence is amazing at applying pressure on his opponents without swarming all over them and his jab is a damaging weapon.

I had Garcia beating Porter & just squeezing past Thurman (but it could of gone either way) but Spence dealt with Garcia conclusively and left no room for doubt.

It's now down to Al Haymon to decide if he wants to be known for making the best matches in boxing or preventing them

I've no doubt Spence and Crawford & Arum would take the fight in a heart beat.

Spence's post fight interview didn't really inspire confidence in his enthusiasm over fighting crawford..hardly mentioned him, when asked what he wanted to do next he just said go to his ranch, and when asked if momentum was building for the fight it was just 'nahh'. crawford was in attendance and they coulda done some callouts or something

i had porter and thurman beating garcia btw, thurman got well ahead and then just coasted home, thought it was pretty clear tbh. thought porter-garcia was more closely contested despite the ud.

Yeh, he said he doesn’t know what Crawford was doing there (at ringside)..

Well obviously he came to watch a fight..

It’s not like he got in the ring..

Errol Spence Jr.’s victory over Danny Garcia on Saturday, a PBC on FOX pay-per-view, generated in excess of 250,000 buys, sources tell The Athletic.

The welterweight championship fight, Spence’s first since he suffered serious injuries in a car crash last October, outperformed PBC’s last PPV, an October junior lightweight title bout between Gervonta Davis and Leo Santa Cruz on Showtime. That event sold more than 200,000 buys but less than 225,000.

This was Spence’s third consecutive fight on pay-per-view, but it didn’t sell as well as the previous two. His 2020 fights with Mikey Garcia and Shawn Porter both reeled in over 300,000 buys.

Still, with over 250,000 buys at $75 a pop, the event pulled in at least $18,750,000 in pay-per-view revenue in addition to the live gate with more than 16,000 in attendance at the home of the Dallas Cowboys. The promotion received a strong push from FOX, with plenty of promos running on NFL...
