He’ll meet his match if he fought Briedis..
You reckon Hearn can entice Briedis come over..
Probably pop that on PPV.
Okolie has to get past Glo first..

I wouldn't be surprised if he fought Makabu in a unification next (I know Briedis talked about moving up to Heavyweight to basically cash in) and Hearn got Riakporhe a fight against the WBA Champion Goulamirian. Then if both win Hearn will do a PPV for Okolie vs Riakporhe and that does probably sell out the O2 but will do terrible PPV numbers.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 08:53 He’ll meet his match if he fought Briedis..

Yeh, If Don King doesn't get in the way..adobson15 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 09:37I wouldn't be surprised if he fought Makabu in a unification next (I know Briedis talked about moving up to Heavyweight to basically cash in)Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 08:53 He’ll meet his match if he fought Briedis..

If Don King sees $$$ then it will happen. Makabu gets a small percentage of the fight purse, Don King gets the majority and then court case number 1000 occurs. That's the way Don King rolls!Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 09:49Yeh, If Don King doesn't get in the way..adobson15 wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 09:37I wouldn't be surprised if he fought Makabu in a unification next (I know Briedis talked about moving up to Heavyweight to basically cash in)Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 08:53 He’ll meet his match if he fought Briedis..

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hearn thinks Glow' wins this comfortably. Ask yourself: If you had Okolie, would you throw him under the bus?
Re: Okolie winning the WBO title: greatest overachievement ever?
Okolie looks like a nightmare to box. He will probably win.
Re: Okolie winning the WBO title: greatest overachievement ever?
He might have changed my idea on him tonight: he looked as sharp as ever and delivered some crazy strikes. Glowa will be in serious danger.

He has the worse style I’ve ever seen of a “top level” fighter.

At least this fight of Okolie was spectacular. However, the Pole contributed a lot to it with his dances.

He’s lucky cruiser division went from very strong to very weak real quick after usyk unified. He’s still raw, not many pro or am fights (I know he was an Olympian but still)... someone with a good boxing brain could work him out

Promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland: "Sorry Eddie Hearn but did you just say Lawrence Okolie would knock out [IBF cruiserweight champion] Mairis Briedis?"
Okolie, after an easy win on Saturday: "One step at at time. I told you years ago I will be the best crusierweight. You laughed. 2021, I'll show you."
