Arthur v Peden?
Talk is that Alex Arthur is going to face Robbie Peden in an IBF world title eliminator.
This is a fight that Arthur should win, Peden is a decent opperater, and has been the distance with Barrera in his last fight, but Arthur would be to good all round for Peden IMO.

dont read too much into raw stats mate - people on here were trying to say Mutley couldnt bang before his last two fights based on his KO%!Max Molyneux wrote:14 ko's out of 25 wins Peden has so not so sure about that.
Nate Campbell offered Penden his chin and was put out cold. Campbell can fight and isnt thought of as chinny.

If this fight happens I think Arthur has a wonderful chance to pick up a world title belt, especially if at home.
Peden is tough, there is no doubt about that, but compared to some of the monsters Triple A might have had to face at world level at that weight in the last decade or so, Peden is a relatively risk free assignment!
Peden was famously savagely beaten in his sleep a few years ago - poor bloke had nightmares for years.

Arthur might go on to win a world title but this one is an IBF eliminator. He would still have to fight Cassius Baloyi in a title fight. Thats by no means an easy assignment, Baloyi just TKO'd Medina in 11 rounds on the 3 knockdown rule.TerribleTerry wrote:If this fight happens I think Arthur has a wonderful chance to pick up a world title belt, especially if at home.

Anyone who can stop even an ancient Medina must be respected.. I remember his thriller with N'Dou - a real fight of the year candidate.

Medina was apparently outboxing Baloyi so maybe the guys mostly a puncher.nickd wrote:Arthur might go on to win a world title but this one is an IBF eliminator.
