People are upset that my controversial prediction about the GGG-Szeremeta mismatch came to fruition.

And the reason why people are so frustrated, is that I’m on an excellent run of form with my predictions, even when they seemingly oppose the thoughts of the mainstream masses.

They can’t pretend I’m “always wrong” and that I “don’t know shït about boxing” when I keep getting proven right over-and-over again!

I predicted the mismatch during March 2019 and immediately before and in between every single round of my commentary, I persistently claimed the bout was a mismatch.

And was subsequently proven to be 100% accurate!!!

At the time of Team Szeremeta’s quitting, Boxing Scenes scorecards had GGG leading by a 70-59 margin.

GGG beat a guy that had never defeated anyone and had only two KO wins to his name during his first sixteen bouts.

Team GGG lobbied the IBF to make the fight. And had been trying to schedule the bout as early as March 2019.

GGG has Jacobs, Saunders, Andrade, Bivol, Munguia and Smith as fellow DAZN stablemates, but he chose Szeremeta.

Mismatch.

• March 2019: The media reported that Szeremeta was one of the favourites to become Gennadiy’s first opponent under his new DAZN contract, but team GGGG had to go with Steve Rolls instead, because Kamil rejected the opportunity, due to his belief about not being ready by the stipulated June 2019 fight-date.

• August 2019: The media once again reported that Kamil Szeremeta’s name was mentioned as a likely foe for GGG’s October fight-date. Golovkin ended up facing Derevyanchenko instead.

• October 2019: Tom Loeffler admits they’re lobbying the IBF to instate Kamil Szeremeta as GGG’s mandatory challenger for his newly-acquired IBF title.

• November 2019: It was announced that GGG would be performing a mandatory defence of his IBF title against Kamil Szeremeta on the 29th February 2020. They failed to achieve that deadline.

• January 2020: It was announced that GGG would be performing a mandatory defence of his IBF title against Kamil Szeremeta on the 28th March. They failed to achieve that deadline.

• January 2020: It was announced that GGG would be performing a mandatory defence of his IBF title against Kamil Szeremeta sometime during April. They failed to achieve that deadline.

• March 2020: It was announced that GGG would be performing a mandatory defence of his IBF title against Kamil Szeremeta on the 6th June. They failed to achieve that deadline.

• September 2020: It was announced that GGG would be performing a mandatory defence of his IBF title against Kamil Szeremeta on the 21st November. They failed to achieve that deadline.

Gennadiy Golovkin even went so far as to admit that he was unwilling to consider facing Canelo for a third time without fighting Kamil Szeremeta beforehand!

An horrendously easy payday might have been the answer to the question I posed.

None of them knew who that guy was, yet they adamantly claimed m the bout wasn’t a mismatch.

And all I’ve done is stir the pot a little, by quoting a few dishonest claims about the sort of threat Szeremeta supposedly presented, which never remotely resembled reality, but yet my posts received a frenzied over-the-top reaction!

How long time ago I have said that? Also, Polish boxing is in a quite big crisis now so yeah, Szeremeta is one of my favorite and currently one of the best Polish fighters. At the same time, I've said that he is not even the best MW in Poland.
