Lightweights: Harry Arroyo versus Cornelius Boza Edwards, 1984...
This fight was one hair from taking place in 1984. Boza was the number one IBF contender about to challenge Charlie "Choo Choo" Brown for the world title when he got injured and Arroyo substituted. Lucky Harry then won the world title so they could have fought in mid to late 1984 But they didn't.
With all that in mind, who, how and why?

Close fight.IMO Arroyo by UD.

Harry Arroyo i would go with in a decision in 1984. Boza-Edwards was a tough warrior but at that time i would say the Harry had a little more skill.

I was at the IBHOF in June 2019 and i met and spoke to a man who was in the Arroyo camp. He was so kind he actually gave me a picture of Mancini and Arroyo from the Naval Academy Arroyo had a moustache and they were both pretty young. He said Harry was not in good health. Arroyo had the title for about a year and a half and made a few good paydays after losing to Paul he lost to Sammy Fuentes and Vinny Pazienza and it was downhill career wise after that.

If this fight is 2 years earlier, I think that Cornelius would pull out a UD. But it is in 1984, and Boza is kinda faded at this point. Harry by UD, punctuated by a knockdown.
