tbf i think right now canelo is the best he's been, and liam got dropped like 3-4 time and lost pretty much every round and got stopped by nelo. lost prob 10 rounds to mugnuia too

He is. He's got a much better jab than Callum. He actually tried to win the Canelo fight whereas Callum was in survival mode for most of the fight.

Exactly. He was just battered, Callum was tougher for sure.

ya people making it out as if liam gave canelo some serious test or something, kid got battered and hurt much worse than cal did, was in agony

i guess since that happened a good few years ago ppl are forgetful. i think canelo is better now too

does losing by 10 points to munguia also show that liam is the best? maybe worse than dennis hogan lol

No, Liam got battered, but he got battered looking like he was trying. Callum looked like he wasn't trying. He was trying, of course, he simply didn't gave the ability to look like he was.

the point of the thread was who is best. if they were both the same size i would pick liam to win a fight between them. he would outjab him easily.

ya people going with this now after comparing their performances, but i dont really see it at all from that

cal has looked sensational vs euro level opposition before, whereas i dont think liam ever has. i also think even the groves cal beat was better than anyone liam beat. liam is solid but very basic

He was very lucky in the wbss that he more or less blagged his way to the final then even luckier to find himself in the ring with a completely broken down and crippled groves who should of never been anywhere near a boxing ring at that stage. he's pretty comfortably beat every euro level guy he;s faced except ryder; fielding, mouhoumadi, rebrasse, skoglund, sjkojca...2 big first rounds kos (1 over a guy who beat ryder incidentally) and the others he won by like 8-12 points

before that it was brutal ktfos vs domestic level opposition

there's not really this sustained streak of him looking poor and he lost now to arguably the best in the game, one who i believe you leppy also had toying with the likes of ggg. very few would do substantially better
