Why not? Because this is a p4p topic. Fury is the best part of 20 stone. He can crack harder than his record suggests but he is a long, long way off being a banger at heavyweight let alone p4p. He is an awesome boxer but nowhere near the top of p4p UK punches.

so your saying fury aint a puncher though he has punched lumps out chisora which uysk couldnt do or many others, and bashed wilder in the 2nd fight to a pulp , i would say if he was an more offence fighter like in the wilder 2 fight we would be seeing this regular

My take:
1 Anthony Joshua
2 Callum Johnson
3 Anthony Yarde
4 James Tennyson
5 Daniel Dubois

I think Yarde and Johnson are pretty interchangable, and the same with Dubois and Tennyson, but I do feel those five are those that best fit the criteria.

As for Fury, he wears other fighters down through an accumulation of shots rather than raw power. He's simply not a KO artist, hence not being in the hardest punches P4P.

At top level, it’s about landing them, not how hard you hit.

If you mean Ritson I'd have agreed a couple of years ago, but I don't think he's carried his power up to Super Lightweight based on what we've seen so far.

I'm forever stuck in the days of Wayne Alexander and the likes of Steve Murray, Darren Dyer & Mickey Hughes when I hear talk of bangers, but you might just have nailed it with Tennyson :bag:

Tennyson has mastered the art of how to uncoil hooks to devastating effect.

Josh Taylor I don't think of as a huge puncher, but he absolutely is ! Taylor has been boxing at such an inflated level, it's important to remember the punches don't have the same effect in world class, so actually, it could well be the Tartan Tornado. The impact of Taylor's punches have everything to do with split second timing.

When you watch Wayne Alexander KOing Takaloo in slow motion I swear there’s a point where Takaloo’s head is facing backwards.

There was so much more on the line that night than the insignificant WBU bauble.

That was no lucky punch either. Watch Alexander focus on Takaloo's advance and roll before dropping an atomic bomb on his jaw :oo
