If we could keep just one belt?
If we could keep just one belt?
Self-explanatory. Which belt would you keep?
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
None of 'em.
You could start it over, and next time don't f*ck it up by having more than one belt.
The Champions wouldn't need to be identified as WBC, WBA, IBF Champion. Just "World Middleweight Champion" or whatever Weight class they happen to compete in.
It could be universally accepted among pundits, and analysts.

Whoever voted WBC. F*ck you.
They're the one that needs to go the most.

Get rid of the lot. Anyone trying to argue which of these organisations has sold its soul the least over the past thirty years needs some serious help
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
WBC only because their ratings are the least worse.
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
Get rid of them all and replace with a rankings system, number one is number one, belt or not.
If I had to keep one, IBF. Top 15 aren't the best but better than WBO and sometimes WBA. They're strict with their mandatories time-wise and number 1 has to beat number 2 to get the shot. With better rankings, that's what you'd want in a governing body.

people saying the wbc sux is just wilder hate
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
None of the existent. There just should be a World champion.
It's good to see the majority voting for none, but how on earth the WBC is on the second position? The WBC and the WBA are clearly the worst ones. The IBF and the WBO share the 2nd place of the sh!tlist. The Ring is the less sh!tty out of all them, but still it's corrupt and biased too.

Re: If we could keep just one belt?
get rid of all the belts and then we'll see who the real champion is.
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
Who benefits from the belt structure other than the organisations themselves? Do promoters get kick-backs from the sanctioning fees?

Re: If we could keep just one belt?
The WBC had such a strong legacy if they played their cards right they could pushed the other titles further away. Instead they cash in and give everyone a belt. Even Jake Paul was given a belt.
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
Wilder ain't the WBC Champion.
I hate the WBC because they've desecrated the Heavyweight Championship with the creation of a needless weight class in Bridgerweight, and very few fans and no Boxing experts have spoken out against it.
It's a disgrace, and has disgraced everybody involved in the sport who won't speak out against these cretins.
Re: If we could keep just one belt?
As far as the way the belts look I prefer the look of the WBA and IBF personally.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 06:43 I think WBC has got so many votes, because it’s the best looking?

I would've respected The Ring Title more if a Promoter didn't own the magazine.DrDuke wrote: ↑25 Dec 2020, 04:19 None of the existent. There just should be a World champion.
