Do you think Tim Tszyu will become number 1 at 154?

Beem very impressed by his recent fightsm I think he has a chance of becoming the main man at 154, but there is a lot of up and coming talent in that division.

I hope I’m wrong, but I think he’ll end up like Chavez Jr.

He’ll be prematurely given an honorary rite of passage to being regarded as a world-rated elite-level fighter without having earned it, simply because of his surname.

I haven’t seen anything of Tszyu that suggests he’s a special fighter.

And like I’ve already said, I’d love to be proven wrong, but I’m sadly supremely confident I’ll end up being proven right.

Jermell Charlo stops Tszyu.

it would take him lucking out on the top 154 guys moving up at the same time and the top 147 guys not moving up at that time, and then maybe still some good fortunate

he is good but good but a division would have to be really weak id think for him to ever be 1

obviously a dude like charlo would beat him, doubt he ever gets even close to that fight though

It will be more clear, after he fights the likes of Lara, Hurd or at least Teixeira. However, the division isn't filled with special names today. Charlo's matchups against Lara and Hurd look pretty even. It's tough to say, who's really the man there now. From what we've seen from Tszyu up to the date, he at least has the skillset and technical abilities to be matched against these guys. And he should be matched against any of them right now.

I think his career path will be closer to that of Anthony Mundine than his father.
Matched properly Mundine was good enough to win a world title but there was never a time where Mundine achieved general recognition as the top guy in any weight class.
Tim will get a belt or two but probably doesn't become the top man of a division like his father did.

i think he can beat texeria but not castano and definitely not charlo. Lara is a bad matchup for everyone. Other than that i think he can beat everyone else at 154.

Who is Horn-level at 154?

According to Boxrec Horn is #12 at Junior Middle which is ridiculous. Not knocking the site just saying no way he’s better than Tony Harrison, J Rock, and Charles Conwell.

Horn-level..

How about?
1. Ted Cheeseman
2. Jorge Cota

Okay that’s quite a bigger step than I imagined you meant. I’d like to see it!
