Boxing News have reported that there is talk of a Ross Minter vs Takaloo fight this September.

Interesting fight.

Really? I think it could be an interesting fight. Minter needs to step up the competition at some point and Takaloo has few options at this stage in his career I imagine.

I agree KOJOE, and with the form these two have shown in the last 12 months I know who I'll be putting a wager on... Ross Minter (sorry DS).

My aunt could show impressive form against the sort of opposition Minter has faced....mind you,she is a super heavy!!

I agree it's an interesting fight. But there's no shortage of potentially good fights out there at the weight: Lenny Daws, O'Donnell, etc. It would be nice to see Ross - who is a character - go for the British instead of the Warren Boxing Union stuff. I think he can beat Takaloo (I am writing this without seeing Minter's display in Cardiff btw) but I'd hate to see him win that and hide behind a meaningless title for 6 fights when he should be going for the Lonsdale belt.
