Am wondering when UK boxing can return. Presumably April or May time given the prep time needed ?

As someone said earlier it seems fairly reasoned in here. What’s going on at the moment I wouldn’t want to see the NHS under any more pressure just for the sake of my entertainment watching some boxing.
The worry I have is they say this new variant is increasing the R rate by 0.7. If that’s the case we are literally in a race to get the vaccine going. At no point during our first lockdown did the R rate go below 0.3 so the level of lockdown necessary to stop the new variant is pretty scary.
We’re lucky that we live in the same country as Oxford university where one of the vaccines is being developed. If this new variant takes a hold in a country where they are slower getting this vaccine up and going then god knows what will happen.
