Gatti-Ward 1
Round 8 of Tim Austin vs Rafael Marquez (has to be specified as that's a great round in an otherwise dull fight)
Toney-Jirov

Those are some of the earliest ones I watched live that were amazingly entertaining for me.

Many on this list.

I’ll add.

Both of the Sergio Martinez vs Paul Williams fights. First one had a lot of close and competitive moments. Second one had me running around the house yelling after the KO.

Lewis v Ruddock

Ruddock was seen as the dangerman of the division based on his slugfests with Tyson and highlight reel KO's over the likes of Dokes.
It seemed a bit early for Lewis but he was punch perfect in that fight, and issued a complete dismantling of Razor and his hype.
I used to get nervous before big fights, especially ones involving a fighter I was a fan of. When that big right hand crashed down on Ruddock's head and he did his leg flip crash to the floor, I dare say I screamed like small excited child.

Benn v McClellan

Horrible outcome, one that no fan of boxing ever wants to see happen, but the fight itself was an amazing spectacle.

Foreman Lyle didn't allow for any seating at all! I was standing up for most of the fight.

I've got no problem with that fight at all. But, then again, I like animals and have no sympathy for a worthless POS who cruelly abuses them. As always, hope the Gman is enjoying his retirement. :TU:

But, Mancini-Kim is deeply tragic so I don't discount your underlying point.

Ack
Although McClellan was not the only one who suffered from that outcome.

Evander Holyfield vs, Mike Tyson, first fight. I was watching it with my son. Both of us were on our feet, shadow boxing. It's a wonder we didn't break a lamp.

Off topic somewhat, but, when I was a kid (long time ago, LOL), I was at my next door neighbor's house and he was a little lit up and was showing me his golf swing in his living room. On the backswing he caught his mother-in-law's bird cage and knocked it to the floor upright. But the bird fell off the perch and put it's feet straight in the air, deader than a doornail. Heart attack, I guess. The mother-in law came running in from the kitchen yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs. "YOU KILLED MY TWEETY! YOU KILLED HIM!" I got the hell out of there pronto! I could still hear her yelling at him even after I got back home.

I didn’t see Froch-Taylor live but that would have had me all over the place I reckon, shadow boxing in front of the TV, shouting instructions very loudly, then the series of yes, yes, yyyyyessss, YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYESSSSSSSS as he finished him, total pandemonium for about 40 seconds. Brilliant.

Froch must still get a MASSIVE buzz off that win. On a very very minor related note a (decent) team o played with once got the winner in the last minute when we’d been 3-0 down at half time. The lad who scored was clearly the best player on our team and he knew it, he’d played a slightly higher level than all of us and he was mad on the buzz of that goal, he wasn’t a demonstrative type at all he was more aloof really, but he was bouncing off the walls. (So imagine Froch, then, is my point)
