James Toney who also didn't win a round or at least barely won any, and James Toney would also beat Canelo by the way.

I'm not discrediting him at all. I think a fight with Toney would be much closer, but I think Toney is better than him. Alvarez is an excellent fighter, but styles make fights.

Both of these guys have the style to beat him.

Did you ever see his fight with Bryant Brannon?

Brannon attacks the living sh*t out of him like a rabid dog, and proceeds to get knocked out in the 2nd round.

Now granted Brannon is no Canelo, but RJJ can and has dealt with pressure effectively.

For one thing he's a bigger, stronger man than Canelo. He has almost every physical advantage here. He's even the bigger puncher of the two, and WAY WAY faster with greater reflexes and defense.

Canelo probably takes a punch better, and is a better body puncher. I don't know that I'd give Canelo any other advantage in this bout.

see already your thinking saul body punching which jones is not use to , i cant help thinking you see it like the Pazienza fight, look i think jones speed ,and his ability to punch in and out and move goes in rjj favour thats how i would fight saul.it would be close fight

That's the fight that's featured in The Devil's Advocate (Keanu & Pacino). The combos that RJJ threw in that fight were amazing. Something like a leading left hook, left to the body then left uppercut to floor Brannon.

Wouldn't be close at all.

If they fought 20 times, Alvarez would lose 20 times.

I didn't say he was 20 times better. I said he'd beat him every time they fought if they were both in their primes, and he absolutely would.

I'm not a big fan of Roy Jones actually. He's just better than Canelo. Of the two careers I've enjoyed Canelo's better because he's frequently involved in bigger, more competitive fights.

But Roy is better than him by a lot.

My current favorite fighters are Golovkin, David Benavidez, Artur Beterbiev, Naoya Inoue, Miguel Berchelt and I've enjoyed Joe Joyce too.

On a lesser level I've greatly enjoyed watching Clay Collard also.

Oh and Regis Prograis...and Chocolatito.

Canelo beat Jacobs 7-5 on 2 of the cards in a very recent fight. Now people are picking him over a prime Roy Jones Jr, absolute madness.

I hope Benavidez's disciplinary issues are behind him because he has a lot of natural talent, and puts together some straight up amazing combinations. He's fun to watch. For now he'll be frozen out a little for failing to make weight, and failing a drug test and sh*t like that, which is fair enough, but I hope that those kinda mistakes are behind him.

He lost both fights to Golovkin. The judges gave him decisions he didn't deserve both times.

He also lost every round to Floyd Mayweather in spite of one judge inexplicably calling it a draw.

He may be one of the most protected fighters I've ever seen when it comes to judging. You have to shut him out to beat him.
