Thought id calculate williams BMI although its not often a true indication as it doesnt take muscle into consideratin its quite fascinating.

Height: 6 feet, 2 inches
Weight: 288 pounds

Your BMI is 37, indicating your weight is in the obese category for adults of your height. BMI Weight Status
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5–24.9 Normal
25.0–29.9 Overweight
30.0 and Above Obese

Williams scaled 20st 3lbs at the weigh-in to the aborted Skelton fight last July. Same stunt. Same mind games. Same pressure showing.

Lets hope he doesnt come down with flu again!!... seriously though I like Danny a lot but am begining to wonder whether he should be in a ring at all... he looked pretty awful in his last fight and though you could say he took it at short notice, you could also say that he had the look of a shot fighter....

What would he have to gain by coming in with weights strapped to him? Surely he will only lose respect and faith.

The BBBofC should take action on any Boxer who weighs in with weights hidden on their body, regardless of the division.

Fringe world contenders.... even in this day an age that is a joke.

I know they were both ranked by some of the organisations, but fringe world contenders? Fringe European contenders maybe.

I suppose Michael Jennings was a fringe world contender given that he was mandatory for Margarito at one stage.

If you look at the figure (no pun intended) he is - 288 - that's under a stone short of 300! Then gentlemen it's just one more stone and he is the same weight as Valuev has come in at on various occassions :o Only Williams is a foot shorter.
