It's normal for all first timers, let alone anyone with too much muscle bulk to be absolutely exhausted after a round or 2.
Most people think that fitness wise to do a round is really easy but the truth is most novices if you pressure them and make them work for 3 mins, without hitting them, will be exhausted after a round or 2, like can't stand up exhausted.

The 2017 World’s Strongest Man, aged 31, agreed to fight Bjornsson – himself a one-time winner of the coveted strongman award – back in May of this year, with a date of September 2021 announced in November.
He revealed at the beginning of the clip that he is suffering from a minor shoulder injury, causing him to drop his weights down. Watching him in action, however, and it’s clear that what he does lift (around 145kg) is probably still more than even some top athletes can manage.
Hall then weighs himself, coming in at exactly 160kg (around 25st 2lbs) on the scales, which he says is a loss of 2kg on his previous attempt. For comparison, the heaviest boxing champion in history Nikolai Valuev weighed in at around 23st.
It's also worth noting that Hall weighed in at 196kg back in 2017.
He discussed how his boxing physique was coming along, and suggested that whilst his strength, expected, was in a good position, he needs to improve slightly on the power side of things. That may be hard to believe when looking at him, but boxing is indeed a sport of fine margins.
The fight, which will take place in Las Vegas, will be the first time that either man has stepped into a boxing ring.
Back in 2017, Bjornsson – also dubbed as ‘Thor’ – accused Hall of cheating during the World’s Strongest Man competition, but the Englishman has since disputed those claims.
Speaking earlier this year, Hall said: “I’m training for this fight like I trained to be the strongest man in the world, no stone unturned and anyone in my way is getting milled down.
“With the experience MTK Global (the official boxing advisers to organisers Core Sports) brings to the table, this event will be even better than it was going to be.
“As for the fight itself, I have zero doubt in my mind that cry baby Thor is getting folded in half and sent packing back to Iceland.”
Steven Ward is still having to pinch himself as he prepares to take on former World’s Strongest Man Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson in an exhibition bout next week.
The clash between Ward and Bjornsson will see the strongman get some rounds under his belt as he prepares for his showdown with bitter rival Eddie “the Beast” Hall later this year.
Ward is excited for the battle, and the former WBO Intercontinental light-heavyweight champion has opened up on what he expects to happen.
Ward said: “I’m looking forward to doing something new. I’ve never been in the ring with someone this size, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out.
“Initially it was just going to be some sparring and I was going to help him out with that technical aspect, but it’s escalated from there and the next thing we know I’m doing an exhibition with the former World’s Strongest Man!
“I have seen him in the gym twice and he was hitting the bag and moving well for being such a big guy. I didn’t expect him to move as well as he did, but he told me he was a professional basketball player at one point, so that explains why he’s got some good agility.
“Training for this has been different. It’s 3 x 3 minute rounds so it hasn’t been the way it normally would be for a camp, but I’ve been able to eat a bit more and enjoy training a bit more, so I’m looking forward to it.”
The exhibition bout between Steven Ward and strongman Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson will now take place in Dubai next week.
The fight was originally due to take place in Iceland, but due the current COVID-19 restrictions in Europe, the location has switched and it will be held at Conrad Dubai.
Viewers will be able to watch the fight on January 16 via coresports.world (exact time to be confirmed), as Bjornsson prepares for his upcoming grudge match with fellow strongman Eddie Hall.
Bjornsson and Hall are set to square off later this year in a fight being dubbed as ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History’ – with the man known as ‘the Mountain’ getting some rounds under his belt by getting into the ring for an exhibition with former WBO European champion Ward.
The two men meet over 3 x 3 minute rounds at the sold out Conrad Dubai, with viewers around the world able to watch the bout on coresports.world on Saturday at around 4:30pm GMT (8:30pm local time).
During their weigh-in on Thursday, Ward tipped the scales at 98.6kg (217lbs), while Bjornsson weighed 156.2kg (344lbs), giving Thor almost a 130lb weight advantage.
Bjornsson is set to take on strongmen rival Eddie Hall in a fight being dubbed as ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match of All Time’ later this year, and sees MTK Global working with CoreSports to serve as the official boxing advisors for the clash.
Before he turns his attention to the fight with Hall in September 2021, he will get some rounds under his belt when he first meets Ward in this weekend’s intriguing battle.
The commentary team has been finalized – with Carl Frampton, Bas Rutten and Chris Lloyd set to commentate on the battle.
The Jackal will be offering some expert insight on the battle, having trained alongside Ward for a number of years, including in the weeks leading up to the event.
Alongside Frampton will be MMA legend and UFC Hall of Famer Rutten, who recently took part in a training session with ‘The Mountain.’

I think Eddie Hall could be half decent. His fitness is very good for such a big bloke and his lactic threshold is incredible. If he's got a chin, his size and power could see him do well.
its cos hes an olympic level swimmer. got those swimmers lungs.
does anyone know anything about eddies coach? From the clips his posted, hes not doing many footwork drills and if he is its marching either forward and backwards. his lead is low which imo isn't great for a squat man facing a giant, and he doesnt seem to move his head much.
his conditioning looks fantastic and his handspeed is great for a huge man, but i could see thor keeping him on the end of a jab.
Not read the entire thread so this may already have been posted but I'd bet my life on the fact Eddie Hall had a white collar boxing match some years ago?
I remember him doing okay, lost I think, and pretty much just bulled forward until he went knackered.

Bjornsson was poor but still better than I expected. His punch technique was better than Freddie Flintoff but still resembled something you might see down your local on a Friday night
