Yeh, Haye was in his prime, and TBH, was a good HW, just never had many fights.

Chagaev and Povetkin respectively were top 3 HW's at the time when they foought Wlad.

Could argue the first Chris Byrd win?
Byrd is an accomplished fighter but he had zero chance of beating wlad. I can see the argument of putting him on a short list but byrds style was a death sentence against a fighter like wlad

Haye was in his prime and had a things he did better than wlad. Povetkin and chagaev where all around good fighters in their prime and could punch

Chagaev was awful. Thank god we're rid of that portly, hep-riddled bore.

After time passes, it only becomes more clear, that Povetkin is the best Wlad had ever fought and won. Although, I'd say Povetkin still was raw against Wlad. He teamed up with his best coach afterwards. His best shape was in 2014-2016. He would have iced Wilder, if the bout happened.
