How will Jon Jones go on at heavyweight?

Post by Jimmy2020 »

Jon is up to about 250lbs now, carrying a good bit of fat with that but that's no bad thing. He is strong and obviously capable. Will he beat Stipe (who is fast approaching 40)? Personally I hope, and think, not. Interesting though. What say you?

Jones has generally made up for his vulnerabilities in striking with his length and size. I believe thats why the Gus fight was so close. I think Francis probably knocks him out, Stipe is probably a 50/50 but we have to see Jones at the weight first.

Last time I checked he was still testing positive for trace amounts but because he ratted he is getting a pass. Or is he finally pissing clean?

Easily? How do you think he'll beat him, by what method?

Not disagreeing necessarily but I do believe Stipe is chronically underrated. He seems to get backed against every time. I really like him, probably my favourite ever UFC heavyweight. Hoping he can weather the early storm against Big Francis again and mow him down in the third or fourth.

Given his last two matches and how much he is going to buff for just touching 250 lbs, it will be an adventure.

Biggest threat to Jones at Heavyweight is...................Volkov the new 20lbs heavier version.
