I guess I have been watching too many boring fights these days and even a fight like tonight's (which was really no bore-snoozer) compares high next to what we are used to these days..margaret thatcher wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021, 01:05lol really? nowhere near enough drama or close enough to be up there for meAntonioMartin wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021, 01:02 I had Fulton by 116-112 but the 119-109 were a bit too wide in his favor I think...
This fight joins Ayala-Tapia, Gomez-Pintor, Ali-Frazier I and III, Pryor-Arguello I and II, Chacon-Limon, Barrera-Morales I, Corrales-Castillo 1, Duran-Leonard I and the Gatti-Ward trilogy as one of the best I've seen, however..
at least add each guy hitting the canvas or something

Terrific scrap, all action, surprised the scores were all wide, i had it 117-111 but could've been closer, a lot of swing rounds, the pace was electric, fought all on the inside but hardly any clinching apart from Fulton holding a bit late on, Leo never stopped coming forward and throwing and Fulton obliged, he could've probably had an easier night if he used his feet and boxed on the outside more often but he was winning on the inside as well, both landed there fair share of body shots and uppercuts, i just thought Fulton was always busier and more effective for the majority, Leo is a warrior, cards didn't tell the story

Big Fulton guy after that fight. Terrific stuff. Would love to see him get it on with Danny Roman. That would be an uppercut fest.

have to say i thought fulton looks a top fighter in waiting ,he is a very good boxer, then also showed he has chin engine good inside , and was willing to trade with leo and box him at his own game and which he did ,and was better, really inpressed with that, best performance ive seen in awhile

That would be a great matchup. I wont be surprised if Fulton turns out to be the next in a long line of Philadelphia world champs. There have been over 20 world champs from Philly...
