Sturm vs. Braehmer in Play
BILD writes that a German mega fight between ex-world champs Felix Sturm and Juergen Braehmer is in the works and could, if the parties reach an agreement, take place in April with the "new" Universum as promoter.
The 41-year old Sturm returned to action this past weekend after over four years out and beat Timo Rost and was in very good shape and looked reasonably good all considered.
Braehmer, 42, has been inactive throughout 2020, but has never retired and is busy as a trainer as well.
During the best days of their respective careers Sturm (41-5-3) and Braehmer (52-3) were stablemates in the "old" Universum with Sturm fighting at middleweight and Braehmer at super middle and light heavy. It should be noted that Braehmer fought at super middle in his last fight just like Sturm.

A pretty even matchup. The two German veterans at the downfall of their careers. Braehmer gotta be a bit more favored because of the more recent activity. Yet the bout itself will probably be unwatchable.

Wonder how Braehmer would have done against Cal Smith in the WBSS semi's.

Sturm-Feigenbutz Still Not Done, Sturm-Braehmer Now in Talks
The German mega-fight between ex-champions Felix Sturm (41-5-3) and Vincent Feigenbutz (32-3) is still not a done deal and now there's another big all-German fight for Sturm being talked about - at least according to BILD - and that is against former WBA, WBO and EBU light heavyweight champ Juergen Braehmer (52-3).
Both Sturm and Braehmer are 40+ - but while Sturm returned this past December after several years out, Braehmer has kept himself in shape and has looked pretty sharp in his recent fights (he didn't fight during 2020).
Braehmer is also training fighters with former WBA super middleweight ruler Tyron Zeuge, his best known pupil. When, where and most importantly if the fight will happen is still open.
