Terence Crawford is the best.

Mixed Race and Black might as well be the same thing as far as most people are concerned.brilo33 wrote: ↑29 Jan 2021, 16:40yea they are mixed race, i grew with mates in london who got greif of full black kids because they were mixed, they were dual race
I wouldn't think too many people give nearly as much grief as they used to about stuff like that, but I'm sure there's still some dickheads. In fact thanks to the last 4 years I know there are.

Plant has to be number one, I suppose Smith must be two, not sure who would be three though as all the others I can think of are journeymen/club fighters.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021, 11:39Plant
Him amd smith are literally the only 2 white Americans i can think of although im sure there are more
It is odd, as MMA is packed with white Americans, so it is not like they are averse to combat sports.

I would have to say Spence, Crawford, Tank, Wilder, Fulton, and Shakur Stephenson. In no particular order. Nothing wrong with this thread, IMO.

Hopkins used to talk about the 'African-American style' which has a strong focus on Slickness.
He would often name successful African-American fighters who fought with this style and got the better of Hispanic an European opponents.
There is an element of truth in what he was saying, even if he came accross as a bit of a helmet when banging on about it.

1 Terence Crawford
2 Errol Spence
after that it's pretty weak
Shawn Porter is probably 3rd

Caleb Plant is world champion and Joe Smith Jr is about to become world champion, so not bad considering their very low numbers participating. Boxing in USA is predominately participated by black people, in almost all the gyms in USA blacks are the majority, the majority of the worst fighters/journeymen in the USA are black also!
Andy Ruiz Jr was recently unified heavyweight champ. Ryan Garcia (probably looks 3/4 white), Ruben Villa. and There's some decent prospects like Vito Mielnicki, Nikita Ababiy, Nico Hernandez. Reshat Mati, Tyler Howard, Sonny Conto

Pretty stupid to call Obama and Marley black, when they have as much white blood as black.Syntax Error wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 14:33Yes; nobody ever called Barack Obama, Bob Marley or Muhammad Ali white, just as three famous examples.

Why don't you talk about how there's so many Black Americans but the vast majority are useless. like Larry Merchant said Wilder was the last Great Black hope at Heavyweight, so many Afro American heavyweights but so much lacking in quality, Darmani Rock was another example last night.
Why don't you talk about how the entire continent of Africa is so terrible at boxing despite having 55 countries and billions in population. I mean who is the best Nigerian fighter now for example, Ajagba lol.
Re: Black American Boxer ... Who's Number 1 ?
Ajagba or Kingsley Ibeh. That'd be a cracking fight to stage in Lagos or Abuja
Re: Black American Boxer ... Who's Number 1 ?
1000 out of 1000 persons around me would consider Obama, Marley and Ali (Spence, too)black. It might be stupid, but it is true. I am not sure for Gervonta Tank Davis (and Prograis).Danger UXD wrote: ↑31 Jan 2021, 10:18Pretty stupid to call Obama and Marley black, when they have as much white blood as black.Syntax Error wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 14:33Yes; nobody ever called Barack Obama, Bob Marley or Muhammad Ali white, just as three famous examples.
BTW, the best Afro-American boxers ATM are Spence, Crawford, Davis, Wilder and Haney.

You seem like you're wearing your racism on your sleeve, and I'm pretty sure we've seen you around here before.Danger UXD wrote: ↑31 Jan 2021, 10:22Why don't you talk about how there's so many Black Americans but the vast majority are useless. like Larry Merchant said Wilder was the last Great Black hope at Heavyweight, so many Afro American heavyweights but so much lacking in quality, Darmani Rock was another example last night.
