BKFC: KnuckleMania

Post by gilgamesh »

This is going down tonight on PPV. I just ordered it. Should be pretty fun.

I'll move this thread to the Other Combat Sports section after tonight, but I'll post it here for now.

so you say youre done with boxing because its dignity has been ruined by a division no one even fights in

but youre all aboard the bare knuckle boxing train made up of washed up boxers and mma fighters?

Bareknuckle Boxing isn't disgracing it's legacy by adding bullsh*t weight classes.

There is basically no Legacy to disgrace with Bareknuckle as it was illegal for over 100 years.

Mismatches so far in the first 2 fights. I'm hoping some of the fights are more competitive as it goes. So far it's been 2 fights of 1 guy who can fight, and 1 guy who can't.

Im hoping there’s more than just these three fights on the PPV. Would be nice to get a little more action for my 40 bucks. But you won’t be hearing me complain this is awesome.

There is. I think there's at least 6.

I'd say we already got our money's worth for that first fight. Those girls were bloody f*cking messes.

The last fight was the first one that was boring of the night. They've all been pretty fun. Or at least short. That last one sucked though.

There's still at least 3 to go. Maybe more. I'm not sure.

For what it's worth I felt like I got my money's worth with that first fight on the PPV. A really bloody war between 2 girls I'd never heard of, but that kicked off the show right.

There's only been 1 boring fight so far, and even that ended in a KO.

Another fight starting now, and we haven't even gotten to the 3 main feature bouts yet.

The fights are either action packed or quick mismatches, so I ain't hating what they're presenting here at all. It gets to the point.

Thoroughly enjoyed this card. BKFC regular from this point forward. They schedule their stuff on Fridays which is nice.

To be crystal clear, some of this has been trash. But boy some of it has been great. Don’t regret it at all.

Leben gets a 1st round KO. There was a delay of a few minutes when Henry got punched directly in his eye, and couldn't see, but was told he'd have to continue or it was a TKO loss. After a 2nd knockdown he was down for the count.

Yeah it's a lot of fun. It's not the most talented or slick skilled guys in the World. It's just a savage brawl type sport. All the fights are short, so they gotta get right after it.

2 more fights to go.

Some of 'em have been mismatches. 1 of 'em has been dull, but it's all been very violent.

Johnny Bedford vs Dat Nguyen up next

I think this is for their Lightweight Championship

Or at least whatever they call their 135 pound weight class here.

It’s the lightweight title.

Two good fighters. This one oughta be good.

Really exceptional fight there. More skill than the rest. Dat Nguyen gets the Unanimous Decision. Deservedly so.

Thought that was a great fight. Two guys who can take a punch. That seems to be the recipe for a good scrap in this league.

Dat definitely deserved the title. He was peppering Bedford all night.
