Not sure why we are discussing this fight. Canelo needs to get past the very dangerous Avni Yildrim. Mods delete this thread.

There should be a choice called “BJS postponement”. Because the odds are at least even money that BJS will find a way to either change the date of the Canelo fight or opt out completely. Check out his career. He’s postponed or cancelled more than he’s had fights. If I’m Canelo, I’m not wasting a payday dealing with this dragqueen.

If there’s a miracle and they do fight, it will be the first time I’ll be in Canelo’s corner praying for a dramatic KO of this punk. And hopefully BJS’s kid gets KO’d in school that same week too. As$holes breed As$holes.

True. If Canelo will fight him and T/KO him then it would be nice. But let's not forget that BJS had this 'tricky' career to just safely land a big money fight. BJS is very cunning and sneaky. He knows very well what he's doing.

the chance of canelo knocking out BJS is rather miniscule if not zip!

canelo would've big problems to legit win a single round.

maybe if saunders takes one off to take a breather from off the backfoot jabbing the mexican silly trying to walk him down & peppering canelo senseless from all angles while he attempts to corner the dancing gypsy.

of course the corrupt scoring will falsely show canelo as the winner.

Are we talking about the same Saunders who lost half if not more of the rounds versus a novice Eubank JNR when he was much closer to his peak than he is now,and the same Canelo, who is very much at his peak right now ?

Canelo Promotions receives Nevada license

“We’re honored and thankful that you consider Nevada,” Anthony Marnell, commission chairman stated to Alvarez and his legal representatives in delivering the good news. “We welcome you to our state.”

“Canelo looks forward to returning to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas,” Greg Smith, Alvarez’s attorney noted on behalf of Canelo Promotions during the monthly agenda hearing. “Canelo Promotions isn’t going to be like every other promoter. It certainly won’t be doing shows every weekend. But you can bet it will be the promoter of Canelo's fights.

“Canelo Promotions looks forward to returning to Las Vegas and lighting up the strip, doing so in front of thousands upon thousands of fans.”

The chances of BJS actually not getting in the ring with Canelo or doing something dumb outside of it to purposely foil the fight’s chance of happening are way too high for Canelo’s first self promoted fight. If, that is, the fight he’s choosing to start his new venture with. I’d put the odds at 30% that BJS squeezes through the ropes to fight on original fight date.

I wouldn’t waste my time or money on a d-head like BJS.

LOL look at every top boxer in 160 and 168, They have no fights scheduled and literally no negotiations ongoing. They just waiting what Canelo does next. He is playing with them like a tools :D :D :D

I think, Canelo wins in the Callum fashion. Saunders wouldn't be able to trade successfully against better chinned and more powerful Canelo. Saunders knows, that his best tools will be his bike and jab, he'll try to box this way. But I don't see him being very active and effective. Canelo will be a confident aggressor, he'll score more damage. Furthermore, Canelo obviously has the judges. Saunders needs to work too much in order to secure a win, he won't be able to do it.

So, my pick is Canelo by wide dec, about 118-110.
