Mike McCallum. I don't see nobody at 154lbs beating the great Mike McCallum. He was as good as the 4 Kings.

McCallum by UD or late KO.

Leonard would easily outpoint him.

The real question would be what the excuses would be: McCallum was robbed, McCallum didn't train hard enough, McCallum came in too light, McCallum was partying too much after a victory earlier, McCallum weighed 200 pounds just a couple of months before the fight and was weight drained, McCallum's tummy hurt, or the fight would have different had it been scheduled for a different amount of rounds.

The ONLY ONE of the Four Kings to beat the great Mike McCallum at 154lbs and above would be the great Marvelous Marvin Hagler!

Leonard is faster and a better boxer, and more than durable enough to handle anything McCallum lands, plus he's not going to be in the trenches where the Body Snatcher does his best work. SRL by a UD by about 5 pts.

McCallum is the goat of the Super Welterweights, but SRL would out-box him on the outside behind his jabs and combinations to take a decision. If they fought in a trilogy, SRL would win 2-1 against the Bodysnatcher.

This is a serious fight.

Normally when you read "Sugar Ray Leonard" in the thread title, you know that he's very likely going to have it....
But against The Bodysnatcher, it makes you pause...

Hearns is the goat.

Leonard 10-5ish here.

I'd favor Leonard here. 9 rounds to 6 or 10 rounds to 5. Something like that. It'd be a solid fight.

It would've had to have been the best Leonard though. If he had fought McCallum not long after the Hagler fight I'm not sure he wins.
