Bell v Haye now that has the makings of a great fight . Almost certain one of them will be ko'ed .

Macca is going to come on after his last two fights, winning hard fights is what he needed. Haye has yet to walk through fire and pull out a hard fought win.

I think that Macaranelli hits harder too, or perhaps is less predictable, because that shot he nailed Dominguez with was an absolute peach. Haye is quicker, but Macca mixes his shots up better, and does a lot less standing and posing waiting for openings.

I've been saying for a long time that Enzo would beat Haye. I've been a Maccarinelli fan for a while: He may not be world class, but he's going to be in some entertaining fights along the way.

Sure, he's probably not as talented as Haye. But he's shown he can come through a tough test and still win. Macarinelli and Haye had the same questions hanging over them, i.e. stamina and chin. Enzo has answered some of those questions. Haye hasn't.

And, whilst they're both regarded as big hitters, have they both really shown that? Haye may well have had Thompson on queer street, but so have 90% of Carl's opponents. Thompson never went down. Neither did the unknown Lasse, last time out.

I have doubts about Enzo's punch as well, especially given that he didn't stop Hobson. But to stop Dominquez, even a 36 year old version, is quite impressive. Especially as he did it with a single shot.

... not a bad remark of a person questioning the ratings, when Boxrec had Skelton in front of Williams dispite his loss before ...

... seems to be quite more reliable than listening to the definite feelings of some other persons ...

When you consider that Dominquez went the distance with Valuev, and twice with JC Gomez, who was a real killer at cruiserweight, it definetly lends credence to Enzo's punch power.

Enzo looks a bit limited though. I know it was close but Hobson outboxed him and would of got it if he wasn't inactive even though he should of got the decision.

Haye's more quicker and slips under taller fighters too like with Gurov so he could well beat Macca. Just making the weight could make the fight hard for him though.

I totally agree with all your comments but we can all have an off day and maybe he wasnt firing on all pistons in the Hobson fight - Yes he does deserve being ranked higher than Haye but I like them both and lets hope they do well for British boxing on the world scene

Bell is a tough fella, not sure if Haye has enough stamina to win that one to be honest. He's not going to just bang Bell out of there.

Bell isn't the best of skilled though. Most thought Brown was robbed although I don't know since I havent seen it. With Mormeck though it was heart and determination that won him that fight since Mormeck was winning comfortably until he ran out of gas.

Hopefully, putting down Bell enough times could do it for Haye.

What a fight it would be though. Enzo has put himself through a couple of good fights recently, Haye is coasting at the moment. I think Enzo could make the fight long and break Haye's spirit. I'm impressed with Enzo right now.

The Haye/Enzo fight won't ever happen.

Haye is going to heavyweight by all accounts.He says he wants to unify cruiser then move up.Not too sure if he will unify cruiser,but I can't see no more than 2-3 fights at cruiser for him.
I don't expect Macca to step up to heavy.He is like a bean pole at cruiser,and does'nt seem big enough to step up.
He is lining up Nelson of course,who will more than likely outbox him before stopping him or winning a landslide points decision.

For what it's worth I think Haye KO's Macca in 6.
I though Hobson deserved the nod against him,and I have no doubt Haye would stop Hobson(who is no more than euro level at best)
The KO over Dominguez was impressive,but hey,the guy is slightly over the hill.

I would like to congratulate Adam Booth for the magnificent way he has manourvered David Haye into number one spot in the WBC ratings. The young up and coming trainer who was a good amateur and was due to turn pro with Mickey Duff before getting injured has guided David to a European title and now he has got him a shot at a World title and all this despite Haye losing to Thompson earlier in his career. It's just a shame that Haye can't box in the bigger venues and seems to be promoted in the leisure centres of England, despite Maloney claiming it would be otherwise at a press conference with Haye.
