Aye he does , but facially looks very gaunt there , don't look like the same fella.
Anyway glad to see him back in the ring , looking forward to it , should be a cracker .

I have a feeling Kelly will show a class performance here and get everyone talking about him again.

Obv Kelly is the touted fighter and I think this will be a great test to see whether he is truly world class or not.
I've got a feeling that the Englishman will struggle in the championship rounds.

Yeah, I though he looked good early vs Robinson but seemed to slow down as the fight wore on and in the end the draw was probably a fair result.

Hopefully he has learned from that fight and paces himself a bit better here as Avanesyan is a handful.

Robison is a good fighter and doing well early on demonstrates his talent but on the other hand can he do it at top class over 12?
Or on the other hand was it a great learning experience?

Time will tell I suppose.

I agree, Robinson is a good fighter, I thought he was unlucky not to get the win vs that Lithuanian lad prior to Kelly and many people feel he should have got the nod vs Kelly also (I can defo see that arguement).

This !!!! ( not Kelly’s fault obviously )
Ava knows he has to KO him to win, as judges would never give him a decision !

Should be a good close fight I imagine . Kelly had shown he is decent with the Robinson fight . David decent and the loss to the Lithuanian seems an anomaly on reflection .

It goes without saying that Kelly needs to put in a career best performance to win here, im just not convinced he has it in him to beat Avanesyan, he's not active enough, postures too much, doesn't work hard enough to impose himself on a fight, the fella he drew with Robinson is actually a pretty decent boxer but he laboured against Campos last time out, Taylor destroyed Campos down at 140, Avanesyan is fringe world level, been looking good lately, in good form, i think he's too active for Kelly, digs hard as well, Kelly good defensively but can see Avanesyan on points unless he gets screwed which is pretty much odds on, whether its 1 or more cards...

Not quite the right thread apologies, but anyone know anything about Robbie Davies JR’s opponent on the undercard? Looks like it might be quite high up the bill, higher than Gill Juarez interestingly.

After Eddie slating his house officials for doing what they were meant to be doing, but not in a subtle enough manner, expect more “reasonable”score cards this w’end.
