I genuinely don’t think there’s any bribery or anything like that. I think it’s pure incompetence and nothing ever happens about it. Who were the judges?
why does pure incompetence so hugely favour the house fighters though, rather than around 50-50 ?
I think it’s because it’s an easier decision and the perception is that if it’s a round that’s even remotely close then I’ll give it to the fighter I’ve seen several times before and they’ll get less shit giving it to the home fighter than the away fighter.
i dont buy that, maybe could make a marginal difference, but we're talking like 98-2 when it comes to the house fighter getting the benefit of this supposed incompetence over the other guy

well actutally, the 'less shit' point, if judges are giving it to one guy because he's more favoured, that 's not just incompetence either, that's very very shady

Lara Warrington 76 75. I do not know how Josh is still up, he is virtually concussed. Lara has holes in his defense but he belts like a madman and Warrington cannot go out with his usual steam.

Should have been stopped earlier really. Warrington didn’t look himself from the opening bell.

Warrington can only fight 1 way, the guy just can't get his chin out the way.

Amazing - you have to keep reminding yourself Josh was No.1 or definitely 2 in the world.

What happened ?

I can’t see that Lara would have been allowed to continue if he was as unsteady as Warrington was.

Jesus that last left hook went right through Warrington. You see the impact go right through.

What else could it be then? The promoter doesn’t appoint the judges, the board does. So has Eddie bribed Robert Smith to get the judges he wants? Or does he have all the judges in his back pocket?

I agree my argument makes them very very shady but I still think it’s incompetence because they don’t want to upset the status quo so take the ‘easy’ decision.
