Regarding Anderson, I don't think anyone thought he'd beat down Ibeh like that. I saw a lot I was impressed by. Lovely seeing a young fighter who has been fighting for a while. Well schooled and really natural in his movement and reactions.

Not scoring, I find scoring and sharing here takes away from watching the fight. Enjoy it.

Dre seems to think it was a razor thin draw :maybe:

Lopez pulled away to win easily imo.

Some KO that from Commey, i had him edging things but Marinez was tricky, done a ggod job of riding a lot of the big bombs Commey was throwing and coming back with some cute counters, Commey really loads up and he can whack so you knew Marinez had to be careful, Commey was getting closer you felt and in the 6th he detonated a huge right when Marinez was backed on thr ropes, another right caught him on the way down, as soon as they boxed on Commey iced him with another monster right and it was curtains

A lot of Anderson skeptics on the thread already which is sad. I agree with you. Kid wanted the KO and he took it! Love to see it. :box:

It was surgery. Anderson took him apart round by round to the ultimate stoppage. Really good performance.

i dont think there are many anderson skeptics on this thread, just one guy saying he's a good prospect rather than fantastic or something, which is fair enough when a dude hasnt fought at that high a level yet

most ppl know that jah is a bad man :yay:

Richard Commey has his flows but once he unleashes his shots, the guy is scary. Serious contender level.

ESPN Tripleheader Averaged 584,000 Viewers, Peaked At 673,000

ESPN’s first boxing broadcast of 2021 drew respectable viewership Saturday night, particularly since its main event was postponed two days in advance.

Nielsen Media Research revealed Wednesday that the network’s three-bout broadcast averaged 584,000 viewers. A peak audience of 673,000 tuned in during the opening bout of the two-hour, 27-minute telecast, undefeated heavyweight prospect Jared Anderson’s sixth-round knockout of Kingsley Ibeh.

An average audience of 660,500 watched Anderson (8-0, 8 KOs), of Toledo, Ohio, beat Ibeh (5-2-1, 4 KOs) in their scheduled six-round bout at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Anderson knocked out a battered, bloodied Ibeh with a left hook that left the native Nigerian flat on his back with 45 seconds to go in the final round.

The main event, Richard Commey’s sixth-round knockout of Jackson Marinez, attracted an average audience of 562,500. There was some overlap between Commey-Marinez and DAZN’s stream of its main event – Joseph Diaz Jr.’s 12-round majority draw with Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov in an IBF junior lightweight title fight.

Nielsen doesn’t track viewership for streaming services. DAZN doesn’t announce those figures, either.
