on the british front, i've been impressed with Willy Hutchinson and Archie Sharp. seen both in person back when we could go to boxing events and on the telly. hard to know how they'd fare at top level though. hopefully we see soon, although Willy's still young.

Dalton Smith looked v impressive the other weekend too. stalking, closing down, biding his time and not getting hit. his opponent was clearly frightened as he walked to the ring though...

Dude is for real. Is he a little too far along to be called a “prospect.”

He’s one top ten win away from officially being ducked in my book anytime Spence fights anyone else Crawford excepted.

Kamshybek Kunkabayev

despite now fighting at cruiser, kunk was an acoomplished shw am, winning silver at the 2017/2019 worlds and with wins (including stoppage) over the current shw world champ jalolov

i've seen kunks pro fights and some of his ams, and he looks the part. a precise, hard hitting southpaw. likes to draw counters. reminds me a bit of lou ortiz.

with only 1 pro fight he dominated and stopped sergey radcheko, who dropped and easily couldve had wins vs both szpilka and glowacki

Kamshybek Kunkabayev, Ray Seitzhanov, Talgat Shayken Win in Kazakhstan

There were wins for the likes of Kamshybek Kunkabayev, Ray Seitzhanov, Talgat Shayken and more as a big card which took place in Kazakhstan on Friday.

The event was being staged at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty, and was broadcast live on IFL TV, with some of the best Kazakh talent on display.

Kunkabayev (5-0, 4 KOs) extended his undefeated record with another dominant win, as the fearsome cruiserweight secured a second round stoppage victory over Farrukh Juraev.

Seitzhanov (10-0, 6 KOs) claimed the first title of his professional career, defeating previously undefeated Jose Macias by split decision to win the vacant WBO Youth super lightweight title.

It was a close fight, with the judges scoring it 95-94, 95-94, and 94-95, earning Seithanov the win.

Talghat Shayken (8-0, 4 KOs) claimed a dominant victory as well, as he defeated Mukhammadsalim Sotvoldiev by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 80-72.

Elsewhere on the card, there were wins for Nurdos Tolebay, Rakhat Seitzhan, Aidos Medet, Nurbol Sultanbay, and more.

Has anyone mentioned Brandun Lee? I had a chat with Reshat Mati's trainer and he said that guy is sure going to show something.

Also: Diego Pacheco, Michel Rivera, Giyasov.
