Fair play to Gwynne, relentless pace he set from the offset and despite a sharp opening from McComb he couldn't handle the heat from GG, ended up exhausted and turned his back before the referee had no choice to end proceedings. Gwynne isn't a big puncher but he has a solid chin and never stops throwing, some nice body work as well which definitely paid dividends. Well done to Gwynne!

Can't believe Mccomb quit especially after what he said to OD......who is reveling over this on Twitter!
Great fight tho. 3rd time I've seen Gwynne, who always brings it. Hope he gets some good pay days defending the Commonwealth.

I enjoyed that, took me back to the old days
When hard working fighters were going at it for titles that have a bit of tradition with them.

When's the next one??

Im always wary of calling fighters quitters but that was a quit plain and simple, you seen McComb struggling, he looked knackered, he started off well, really tidy southpaw moves, kept clipping Gwynne moving in and out of range, not the biggest puncher or strongest but a neat boxer, Gwynne just kept plugging away and each round got more and more on top of McComb, you sensed the end was coming McComb looked like he might get broke down to the body but the ending was a shocker, Gwynne just landed a decent flurry and McComb just turned his back and quit, cant see him fighting again, it looked as if he realised at that moment boxing wasnt for him

Hopefully it will fire him on. We’ll see now how much he really wants it.

Nice win for Elliott Whale over Jamie Stewart in a pairing of unbeatens before the commentary team started. That's the second unbeaten opponent Whale has beaten in a row.

Whale showed good concentration throughout and looked a well schooled boxer taking control of the unpredictable, free swinging Stewart, who put in another whole hearted effort.

I thought both of Stewart's results against Hennessy jnr and Marku could be contested, but Whale handled him very well for a clear points win.

good fight , i thought it was close but looked like gwynne took the fight out of sean, horrible cut on gg head .fight looked gruesome, he is a nice boxer sean but he cant take body shots it has been his weak spot, not sure reason for him qutting must be something boxers dont quit like that
