As a result of the new rule, I'm curious what the biggest differences are in the all-time ratings?

Mikey Garcia #4 at WW is a little questionable. I see Oscar Valdez also jumped up to #2 at 130, maybe there needs to be slightly more penalty for weight jumping?

Also Taylor back up at #1 at 140 but Ramirez way down from #1 to #4. I wonder what happened there.

Due to the stay busy bout rule, best rating within 18 months as long boxer has clear wins:
- Valdez now has his 114.2 points from 2019-11-30 (until 2021-05-30)
- Taylor now has his 296.1 points from 2019-10-26 (until 2021-04-26)
- Prograis now has his 267.7 points from same bout
- Zepada now has his 210.6 points from 2019-09-14 (until 2021-03-14)
- Ramirez has still his 208.5 points from his close last bout

The new rule shows no impact to the all-time ratings. The new rule only is applied ad hoc for the current ratings. The WHR ratings are not touched.

Always thought it was strange to display full birthdates for the fighters. Why is this info necessary?

why's that strange, that happens all the time with athlete listings/bios, it lets you see then how old they were at each phase (and in boxrecs case without having to click on the fight page for every fight)


also, now there is no age or birth info at all for inactive fighters

The new stay-busy-bout rule is set life now. The complete changed ratings will be visible after the next daily ratings run on 2021-02-18.

I just for test made an instant update for the ratings of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. So you can even now see, Anthony Joshua is now rated #2.

Martin like Yenthony Joshua can have 795 points if he flew to Yndi Ruiz by TKO then won 208 points in Ruiz. Judging by the rating, Ruiz before Joshua had only sacks. After Ruiz, Joshua had Kubrat Pulev 49 points. Then from where in Anthony Joshua 795 points. This is absurd!

I already explained that in the posts before - That means a boxer will keep the highest rating within the last 18 months, as long as his record shows clear wins. So if there are stay busy bouts or clear wins against inferior opponents later, that won't drop the rating ...

You mean the ratings of Joshua after each of his bouts regarding all bouts of all boxers before each of those bouts. The current ratings in that sense are not available for the past. WHR shows the ratings at time of each bout regarding all bouts before and after that bout. And it would consume far to much computer ressources to calculate those ratings daily, with all those daily new and changed results in history.
