I’m buzzing for the fight tonight. The last fight that I was looking forward to watch as much was Joyce/Dubois.

At 5/4 it is tempting. Kelly odds on at 8/13.

If we don’t think he’ll get jobbed, Avanesyan at 11/2 also looks tasty!

Really looking forward to this.

There is no doubt in my mind that Kelly is the superior boxer. The doubt I have with him is that he tends to have flat spots during fights and gets caught.

The problem in this fight is if Kelly has a flat spot, Avanesyan will be all over him like a bad rash.

So, I slightly favour Avanesyan to perhaps gain a late stoppage win.

You just need to factor that into your bet. Like who the home fighter is etc

That dude on sky who is commentating now is much better than growler Smith. Shows Smith up as being so poor he is embarrassing.

And let us not forget Avanesyan was a very good EBU champion.

True but Kelly is 26, been a pro 4 years, while losing to the Russian is of course no disgrace it does show that the Englishmans level is more David Walker than someone who can win a Euro title and push on.

Not so sure. If Kelly sticks is at it he might be able to win British & European titles, then world title challenges could be in his grasp.

Walker had a mission impossible with his EBU title challenge, but Kelly is clearly a very talented boxer.

Ideally, Avanesyan would just be given the credit he deserves.

I'd hate to devalue anything Spencer Oliver achieved, but just as an example, look at the difference in the quality of European champion that Kelly had to take on.

Andy Clarke. Friend of a friend.

Andy a highly intelligent guy, got his degree and masters at Cambridge, in the view of his friend could have done and earned anything but followed his passion.

Seems a really nice guy and an excellent commentator IMO.
