Jaurez is my new favourite gatekeeper. :box:

Good fight this, Gill has the fight under control..., until he doesn't.

Briefly looked like he'd gassed at the end of the 5th but got back on his toes through the 6th. A good test. Juarez is easy to read but rough and relentless.

You can see lack of power is gonna hold Gill back.

I dunno, he's hitting sharply enough.

I think Jaurez just doesn't give AF.

Yep - tidy boxer but unlikely to get beyond British/European level because of his lack of power.

well it is as he cant keep this fella of him with his power, so if the mexican was more heavy handed it could be a lot different

Yes, above domestic level he doesn't have much pop. Stamina too is a bit patchy.

Good last round! Gill wins it 98 - 92 for me; he showed maturity.

Great test.
landslide win on the cards, but "doesn't tell the story" of a close, hard fight.

They said that about warrington too. It was a good fight and he will improve

Agreed - really well matched fight.

Would like to see the Tinocco rematch next.

Decent test that for Gill. 96-94 seemed fair.

Fisher next. Expect lots of hooks.

That’s true but Warrington hadn’t been stopped at the point whilst Gill has already shown some vulnerability there.

Really well matched fight and hopefully he keeps improving.

Nah I disagree, whilst Warrington didn’t get loads of stoppages you could see he was hurting guys with his power. Even up at World level he hurt Frampton over and over in their fight despite not stopping him.

For me there is a difference there.

On a separate point a bloke from the middle of London coming out to ‘Country roads’ makes me feel a bit sick.

Also there’s something with Fishers face. When I first looked I thought he was one of those guys with a tiny face on a massive head but it’s not that. Cant quite put my finger on what’s wrong.
